Hybrid Blood
Pathfinder/Starfinder Supplement
By Silver Games LLC

Strange gods or wizardly interference has blended animal and man. By practice, accident, or even nature, the beast people have risen to live against and with humanity in all its varied cultures and origins. Two legs or four, they stand ready to spice up your adventure as allies, antagonists, or player options.

In a world steeped with magic, even the most unlikely matches are occasionally made. Sometimes through wildly inventive sorcery, the interference of otherworldly gods, or even the spark of true love may bring two distant lines together. Such creatures may be an anomaly, or give rise to whole new species.

Even if one doesn’t force blood together that normally would remain separated as water and oil, the nurture side of what makes a person who they are cannot be denied. What if your halfling was raised by orcs? Or that orc was brought up by elves? Without a single physical exchange, lines can be brought together.

Planetarium – Rasmussen’s Guide: Dwarf Planet Divot
Systemless Supplement
By Frog God Games

Welcome to Rasmussen’s Guide, a tool for those wanting more science in their science fiction.

It is for GMs running campaigns who need an alternate world with a logical ecology. Admit it, game worlds need internal logic, after all. Living animals do not spontaneously generate from nonliving matter, nor do they magically appear out of thin air. All living things metabolize, reproduce, grow, and adapt. They do not do these things in a vacuum. This planetary guide is a concise look at these lifeforms as they might evolve on a variety of planets, moons and celestial objects, using each world’s surface gravity to define its primary vertebrate Superclass and maximums.

Dwarf Planet Divot

Depending on star type, a dwarf planet with a Terra-like atmosphere in a habitable zone orbit may have a differently colored sky. Depending on star type, a dwarf planet in a habitable zone orbit may have a different apparent size of star than Terra’s Sol.

A dwarf planet is a celestial body that (a) is in orbit around a star, (b) has sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a hydrostatic equilibrium (nearly round) shape, (c) has not cleared the neighborhood around its orbit, and (d) is not a satellite. Collisions with other icy/rocky objects in the neighborhood around Divot’s orbit are frequent. Asteroids and meteors strike often. A constant rain of space dust also peppers the tiny world.

Demiplanes: Valhalla
Pathfinder Supplement
By Rite Publishing

What fate awaits you?

Valhalla is the domain of heroes, sacrifice, and destiny.

The demiplanes touching it are no different, from the endless adventurous dreams within the Unknown Expanse to perilous tragedies trapped within the Hall of Unseen Fates, each of the realms offers whole new worlds of possibility! Great warriors might seek an impossible challenge in the mythical Champion’s Arena or mysterious Training Grounds. They might wish for to drink with everyday heroes in the Tavern of Unsung Songs, or tell their tale in the Eternal Tavern… after saving the world once or twice.

Then, not all great callings end well. Within the quiet serenity of the Garden of Memoriam one sees the price of heroism, and those who stand upon the Cliffs of Renewal might choose to erase their sins. You could trade your future for an artifact within the Forge of Destiny, or give your eyes to the Well of Sacrifice’s endless depths. Nothing worth gaining comes without cost in Valhalla.

What price would you pay?

Within this book are 10 demiplanes associated with the Outer Plane of Valhalla — a chaotic good realm set aside for heroic souls. Each demiplane includes background information and secrets, new planar traits, ways to reach it, plot hooks, important locations, and NPCs. Each also includes novel mechanics associated with the strange realm, such as artifacts, monsters, hazards, items, traps, and much, much more!

What songs shall they sing in your name?

Glorantha
HeroQuest Setting
By Chaosium

HeroQuest Glorantha is the HeroQuest 2 rules system specifically tailored for Glorantha. It presents a simple rules system that allows Game Masters to run games modeled on ancient myth, epic sagas, and tales of high adventure. HeroQuest encourages creative input from players, resulting in an exciting, unpredictable narrative created through group play.

The book includes everything you need to have to start a campaign in Glorantha: basic overview of the setting; character creation; magic rules for spirit magic, rune magic, sorcery, and Lunar magic; seven complete cult write ups; heroquesting rules and explanations; monster descriptions; themes of Glorantha; and even an introductory adventure that will take your heroes on a heroquest into the Underworld!

Glorantha is the most elegant, original, and imaginative fantasy setting since Middle Earth. It is a world of exotic myth and awesome magic, self-contained and unique in its creation. The existence and use of the magical and mythic realms are central to the physics of Glorantha. Here the gods and heroes guard and guide their followers, sharing magics while pursuing their own enigmatic ends.

Glorantha’s detailed cultures, histories, and myths are shaped by gods, heroes, and magic, and yet are plausible and logically self-consistent. Glorantha has been the setting for the Dragon Pass board game, the original RuneQuest roleplaying game, and the award-winning computer game King of Dragon Pass. Glorantha is fully described in the Guide to Glorantha, available from Moon Design Publications.

Frostbitten & Mutilated
Lamentations of the Flame Princess Setting
By Lamentations of the Flame Princess

Sometimes the snow will not stop. Under its particled screen like layers of veil that would make of the world a bride to an unknown, vast and unseen groom all civilization is wondering from its hearths and stone corners: What is to be done about the women? They spit and rage, they drown the taxmen, they hack the bellies of snakes and eat what they find, they abort babies and squeeze their milk into the bellies of troll-cats, they dwell apart among the wide white peaks, raiding, scheming, speaking to animals, willful and without trade or diplomatic discourse—the witch-women and amazons. They dominate and divide the Devoured Land. Who can see this ending well?

From the multi-award winning artist/writer behind Vornheim: The Complete City Kit, Red & Pleasant Land, and Maze of the Blue Medusa, this book details the bleak white wild created on the spot where the first goddess took the first bite out of the Earth, which maintains the balances and arrangements that held sway in the first days. It contains wolfpacks, cannibal giants, trolls, demons of the apocalypse as well as a wilderness kit with enough tables, generators and tools to keep your players busy until hell freezes over.

Frostbitten & Mutilated is a setting book for use with Lamentations of the Flame Princess Weird Fantasy Role-Playing and other traditional role-playing games.

Ticket To Ride: New York
2-4 players, ages 8+, 10-15+ minutes
By Days of Wonder

Ticket to Ride: New York features the familiar gameplay from the Ticket to Ride game series — collect cards, claim routes, draw tickets — but on a scaled-down map of Manhattan that allows you to complete a game in no more than 15 minutes.

Each player starts with a supply of 15 taxis, two transportation cards in hand, and one or two destination tickets that show locations in Manhattan (and Brooklyn). On a turn, you either draw two transportation cards from the deck or the display of five face-up cards (or you take one face-up taxi, which counts as all six colors in the game); or you claim a route on the board by discarding cards that match the color of the route being claimed (with any set of cards allowing you to claim a gray route); or you draw two destination tickets and keep at least one of them.

Players take turns until someone has no more than two taxis in their supply, then each player takes one final turn, including the player who triggered the end of the game. Players then sum their points, scoring points for the routes that they've claimed during the game, the destination tickets that they've completed (by connecting the two locations on a ticket by a continuous line of their taxis), and the tourist attractions that they've reached with their taxis. You lose points for any uncompleted destination tickets, then whoever has the high score wins!

Kingdom Run
2-4 players, ages 7+, 15+ minutes
By Ankama

Every hundred years, the King organizes a race between the different clans living in the Kingdom of Ewala. The reward for the winners? The throne! The winner's clan will rule the country for a whole century!

In Kingdom Run, four athletes from each clan are ready to use their legs and…your brain! Strangely enough, the faster you are, the faster your opponent can be. More specifically, each step forward that you take means two steps forward for them…unless the gap between you is too big. Who will be smart enough to become the next king of Ewala?

In more detail, on their turn, a player rolls four dice that give actions they can do. (One reroll is possible for some of the dice.) You can chose to move your athletes forward, but you can also decide to move the other athletes instead so that you can go farther yourself! Battle for Kharkov
Fighting Formations: Grossdeutschland Division Expansion
By GMT Games

Attacks and counterattacks were the order of the day, any day...

In the early winter months of 1943 the Soviets were driving deep into German lines. Their hope was to destroy the southern wing of the German army while it was still reeling from its defeat at Stalingrad. There were large gaps in the German lines and a quick advance here could turn the tide of the war. Time after time the Panzergrenadier Division Grossdeutschland was called upon to reinforce, fill and stabilize weak points, and to close the gaps before the onslaught of Soviet troops could pour through. Oftentimes they were outnumbered and arrived just in the nick of time. As the front stabilized they were called upon again to spearhead the German drives against the Soviet 40th and 69th Armies.

Worlds at War #61 : Peaks of the Caucasus
Wargame & Magazine
By Decision Games

Peaks of the Caucasus simulates the German offensive in the southern Soviet Union in 1942 and the ensuing Soviet Counteroffensive. The German objective was initially the Caucasus oilfields, but the campaign turned into a struggle for the city of Stalingrad on the Volga. The game uses a variant of the "Boots system" to model higher echelon command-control and logistics, and their impact on the theater of operations. The map is divided into two sectors: Stalingrad and the Caucasus. Various Command markers will activate a player's forces on one or the other (and sometimes both) Fronts. Effectively, the player is in command of theater forces and must operate within historically based high command interference in operations.
