I've seen some fan conversions of "Battlestar Galactica," but I haven't heard anything about any official licensing. Other threads (see links below) have discussed the merits of various rules systems, helpful D20 science fiction sourcebooks, and the 1970s version of the military SF series versus the SciFi Channel's current revisionist take.
I would be interested in a D20 adaptation of the classic show, but with the demise of "Farscape," "Star Trek: Enterprise," and "Andromeda" and related game licenses, space opera is mostly out of fashion at the moment on television. I've also seen some "Firefly" RPG stuff.

As for "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," again, I'm not aware of any official sourcebooks. Mongoose Publishing, which did a good job with the classic humor role-playing game "Paranoia XP" as well as releasing numerous D20/
OGL supplements (including under the "Conan" license), would be a logical choice. The new movie may help stimulate interest in this...
