Mimic Class abilities?

Hi,

A player in my game was wondering about a character who could mimic class abilities and fill out missing roles in the party. I found the Savant from Dragon Compendium (originally Dragon #140), and the Master of Masks from Complete Mage, but neither is really what he was looking for. Can anyone help? Thanks!

In Dungeonscape there's the Factotum class.
In Races of Destiny there's the Chameleon prestige class.

The latter should also be available online somewhere in the Wotc archives.

Binder can mimic a few roles:
Healer, Mage, Warrior (archer, Paladin, etc), and Rogue.

Very versatile class. But at low levels you'll have to choosea style (until you can bind 2 vestiges at once).

I never really liked the flavor of the Chameleon. I like the Master of Masks flavor, but it is pretty mechanically terrible.
