3.5 item that lets you ride a gelatinous cube?

I remember some 3.5 DND item that lets its user ride inside a gelatinous cube or similar monster by using some force field but I can't remember what book it was in. I think it was associated with the underdark in some way. Anyone remember which book its in or know a way I can find out? I'm not completely sure of the name of the magic item.

I believe that it was called “amulet of the cube” or something like that and was in the arms and equipment guide.

And when charging that cube into battle at 30'/round with a rebel yell it is called Gleaming the Cube.

not even official stuff beyond the MM gives the cube much respect...
