lost soul?

the 15th lvl dwarven cleric in my fri night group, drew the void card when they found a deck of many things, I ruled that his intellect was still present and allowed the session to finish however I am looking for advise on how this would effect his clerical abilities.

No spells.

indeed I strongly recommend whatever "echoes of the mind" or "minor outsider spirit" that let the cleric's body finish that task [adventure] depart immediately and the fell effect of the void card takes over fully. the cleric player then has to either make a new character or hope the party can get back his soul. The Deck is a powerful source of boon and bane.

Quote:
The Void This black card spells instant disaster. The character’s body continues to function, as though comatose, but her psyche is trapped in a prison somewhere—in an object on a far plane or planet, possibly in the possession of an outsider. A wish or a miracle does not bring the character back, instead merely revealing the plane of entrapment. Draw no more cards.
