Favored Weapon of Dagon and Demogorgon?

I can find cleric domains for those demon princes in Fiendish Codex I. But are there any official announcement regarding favored weapons of those princes?

I am wondering if I can put Pious Templar of those princes against PCs. But I need to first know their favored weapons to make those NPCs.

Not that I know of.

According to this site, demogorgon's favoured weapon is the rapier, while dagon's favoured weapon is the harpoon.

The Wiki Of Otep: Demogorgon

Dagon (Dungeons & Dragons) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Seems to make sense, but take it with a pinch of salt.

Thanks.

Dagon = Harpoon makes sense. He is the prince of depth.

But Demogorgon = Rapier? Hmm ... I was expecting something resembles his tentacles, say, whip or flail.

I personally thought a 2-headed flail might make more sense.

Ah good one! If there is no official mentioning in WotC books, I will go with it.

Yeenoghu already uses a three-headed flail. I think a double weapon of some kind might be cool, or maybe a weapon associated with sahuagin. His realm is watery, so a trident wouldn't be out of character. Spiked gauntlet?

I should point out, and this is no way discounting your prerogative to do whatever you want in your games, that traditionally, Demogorgon would depend on Thralls of Demogorgon to fill the higher echelons of his forces. Pious Templar implies a rather more churchy organization. If you have ruled that Demogorgon is a god, that's no problem, of course.
