Blind sight

I’m trying to find out if blindsight exists in fourth addition. My DM wants me to play a character who is blind, to match me, since he feels that I would do a good job at it and it would bring some flavor to the game, no class yet though. If anyone here can give me a hand as to if it actually exists I’d be greatful.

First tip, don't force your text color to black when the default color scheme for the board has a very dark gray background.

Second tip, blindsight exists, see MM p. 280.

Third tip, note that blindsight allows you to perceive things within range as normal. In other words, you can hide from someone with blindsight, you can use invisibility against people with blindsight, etc. No special immunities or ninja perception powers.

thanks for the info

Thanks for the info, and at the risk of sounding profoundly stupid, is there way to change the font color here or should I write everything out in word and then paste it in.

Doing stuff in word won't change anything I wouldn't think.

Beyond that, remove the [[color=#000000]] tag from the beginning of your post, or use the control that's just to the right of "fonts" and "sizes" to change the color of text.

You might be interrested in the grimlock helm AV p 142 which can grant you blindsight 5 indefinately.(at the cost of being blind) maybe your DM can make something cooler and similar other than a grimlock thingie.
