Druid Summon powers question

I'm probably missing something in one of the books that would answer this question, but here goes:

Is there anything preventing a Druid who has multiple Summoning powers from using them all in a single encounter, thus having multiple summoned creatures active and attacking instinctively at once?

For example, if a Level 9 Druid has Summon Giant Toad, Summon Guard Drake, and Summon Great Eagle, and spends three standard actions to cast them all, would all three remain active until the end of the encounter (or they were killed) and take their instinctive effect action at the end of the druid's turn?

I'm not complaining if that is the case, I just want to answer one of my player's questions.

As far as I recall, it is legitimate to summon your entire menagerie at once. You'll be short on actions to control them, tough.

Thanks, that was my original thought as well. The instinctive actions (in which the summon moves or attacks without taking the actions of the Summoner) is what threw me off in the case of Druids.

Its perfectly legitimate to do this. Any summoner can do it, but it makes special sense in the case of the druid because of the instinctive actions. Its not going to come up very often (how often do you use 2-3 dailies in one encounter) though. Note that a druid with 3 summons can probably still do a decent amount with them. He can move 2 of them and can issue up to 3 minor action commands if he does nothing else.
