We're going to do things slightly differently this time. I'd like to start by opening things up for GM's to post their games starting now, but not have players start to sign up until the 15th. Hopefully this will avoid the land-rush for the first games that get posted, and the chicken/egg situation that follows where GMs are reluctant to commit to games because they don't know if there will be players, and players don't know if there will be games to play.
So, GM's, please start posting the games you want to run. We'll have 7 tables each session, so there should be plenty of opportunities. GM's are encouraged to run games that accomodate up to 6 players to maximize the number of potential attendees.
See the sticky thread on how to post games. GMs that need to reserve spaces in their games for specific players should indicate in the game posting that only (x) spaces are available (eg, 4 spaces if its a six player game and two spots are reserved), rather than indicating that the game is open for six players and then trying to pre-register the reserved slots. However, GMs are encouraged to reserve slots only as a last resort; part of the fun of the Gameday is playing with new people you might not get to otherwise.
Session 1 will be 10am to 2:30; Session 2 will be 3:30 to 8pm. This should make it easier to get things started on time, especially with people coming via Metro.
Well, it's only a half-hour later than last time, and the place we're shooting for for dinner is closer, so hopefully it's a wash. Starting at 9:30 am didn't work very well the last time. :\
Hey, you all split early, leaving me to clean up the room, and I *still* made it to the restaurant before you. Some of us know how to use Google maps.
Some of us listened to Xath and Archon, who insisted that they knew where the place was!
We were FOOLS!

Little did we know that we weren't the biggest fools that night! The wait staff at the restaurant get that award.
Ah yes, the infamous credit card debacle. What a nightmare. NEVER AGAIN shall we go to that place.

No, I pretty much think everyone's going to pile into your and RI's games.
Well, I have a couple of ideas for a game I'd like to run (something HEX'y pulpy OR something indie Western-y), but I'm not entirely sure which I want to do.
Anyway, I've already posted that a couple of times here, so folks reading the forums regularly probably know that. I figured I'd wait to see if other folks are going to post games just in case we have too many GMs and not enough players. Maybe that's not going to be the case...
So, folks, as JC says, anyone else running something?

Can I make a suggestion?
I'm thinking of running Savage Worlds; not sure exactly which setting yet.
I will probably run something, but I'm currently a little overtaxed with work...so just WHAT (and when) I run is as yet undetermined. I'll probably post my game on the 16th or something.

Yay yay yay yay yay!!! That will work much better for those of us who might have a Metro ride.
Some interesting games are posted so far. Nice mix of stuff!
I noted in my M&M thread that I may run the game twice, but I'm also thinking that if I run two, I may want to run a different game. Any interest in Star Wars?

Well, there is an SW game in the afternoon, but I'm guessing you have your own spin that might make it interesting.
