Description
Creates baseline derived stats for WOIN monsters using Maximum Dice Pool (MDP) and type. Choose a “type” and a size for your monster. The size category is already described in the core rules. The type is just a broad descriptive tag which is not used in-game, but can be useful when designing. Once you have the base stats, you can tweak them to suit. You will need to then add any exploits to make the critter unique, though this will output some suggestions you can use.

Artillery. A creature which does area damage from a distance.

Brute. A creature focuses on raw melee power.

Expert. A creature whose focus is not combat.

Ninja. A mobile melee creature.

Skirmisher. A ranged/missile-based creature.

Supporter. A creature which heals or buffs other creatures, or controls the battlefield.

Swarm. Swarms of creatures which attack by just being in their target's square.

Trickster. A frustrating opponent such as a teleporter, or illusionist, able to inflict a range of conditions.

Other options which can be selected are as follows:

Sentience. Largely descriptive, but if you choose "Semisentient" the creature's LOGIC attribute will be set to 1, and if you choose "Supersentient" LOGIC and INTUITION will have a minimum value of 21. Defaults to "Sentient".

STRCAP. This defaults to "No", which allows for super-strong small critters. If you set it to "Yes", then the creature's STRENGTH, AGILITY, and ENDURANCE attributes will be determined by its size.

Finally, there is one last option:

Random. If you set this to "Yes", the generator will completely ignore all the other selections and give you a completely random monster. It will randomly choose its role, type, size, MDP, and so on. You could get anything!
