ecommerce software

I'm evaluating different e-commerce software with the intention of starting a storefront on our site. Anyone want to share their recommendations and/or words of warning?

I've used OSCommerce and VirtueMart.

If you're using Joomla for your Content-Management-System, I'd recommend VirtueMart - it's a pretty seamless integration, although documentation on it is a bit minimal.

OSCommerce is a bit more robust in what it can do, but also requires a bit more custom coding.

Those are the only two systems I've used.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to steer clear of systems with minimal or poor documentation. I have an installation of ZenCart running right now, but if I had any hair I'd be pulling it out over their spotty documentation. Although "free" is appealing, it's not free in terms of my time spent trying to decipher poor documentation. I'm starting to look at a commercial system called X-Cart, if anyone has any experience with that...
