GSL Included in Book?

Do you have to include the GSL in your product. I couldn't find reference in the license.

The answer is in your second sentence.

Down on the list: seemingly real close to releasing a notebook essential. It's in layout! Has been for months now. (Just nod politely so I won't cry about this.)

See sections 4.2 and 5.2 of the GSL for the graphic and text you must include in/on your product. See sections 4.2 and 5.3 for the graphic and text you must include in advertisements of your product.

AFAICT, you do not have to include the entire GSL in your product.

Please make sure you read the *entire* GSL *very very carefully* before publishing a 4th Edition D&D compatible product. If you're still not sure what the GSL says, what it permits, or what it forbids, you should probably consider consulting an attorney.

I believe you're actually forbidden from doing so -- the GSL itself is material copyrighted by WotC, and the GSL grants no permission to reprint it or otherwise use it.

Cheers,
Roger
