My friend Ron / Seannachie is running a Saturday evening Pathfinder game on OpenRPG, on the Unshaped Server. It starts at 8 pm eastern / 5 pm pacific and runs for 3 or 4 hours usually. We are all level 1, the game is new. What we have so far is a fighter/archer type, a human sorcerer, a halfling rogue, a magus, and maybe one more undecided but leaning towards a combat rogue. So what we really need is some kind of a healer in the party.

EDIT: The party consists of a Wizard(support build, played by ENWorld's famous RUMBLETiGER), and a Fighter(combat specialist and secondary skill monkey, by iwantmantmyjetpack) so far. Two slots open.

I'm looking for 2-4, (kinda) first level PCs for a 3.5 campaign we'd play on the net. I wanted to start forever now, and finally, my other options exhausted, I rely on random recruitment and hope it doesn't bite me back in the nads. Please don't abuse my position:blush:

The plot will, barring a derail, will mostly play out in Brennethar County, Sunndi a few years after the Greyhawk Wars, revolving around a border incident with Glorvardum. Low combat, roleplaying is welcome.

I expect characters to have motivations and a decent backstory, which strongly influences how much cheese I let you get away with. Should it turn out particularly good... I might let a little ECL, famously smelly character options, or an item outside your price range among your starting equipment here and there slide;) But only if justified!

I'm very lenient regarding sources(In trade I request you discuss your progression with me every time you level up). Core books and any third party book I own have an automatic free pass, save for Savage Species. Rules from Races of War are used in place for Monster characters. Pathfinder sources(Including main classes from the PFSRD, only with 3.5 hit dice, which I employ for NPCs regardless of your choice) may be also used unless otherwise noted. Mark them with a (P) on your character sheet for ease of use. I yoinked the Fly skill, Called Shots, magic item rules and feat progression from PF, as well. While I do discourage material from the Tomes, Homebrew and Dandwiki, you can still use said sources, given you're reasonable about it.
As new players at my table, you are entitled to the Common Sense bonus feat, which forces the DM(me, hopefully) to warn you a given number of times per day whenever you'd try to do something unintentionally suicidal. Since the campaign is purposefully easy, Optimization is not necessary - which doesn't mean you can't do it. Flaws can be taken at will, Traits are assigned by me(I listen to requests though), and the only thing I explicitly ban without exception is the Leadership feat. You can play any race, any class, use any ACF. Feel free to live out your wildest fantasies as long as you don't break anything.

I've been playing exclusively online for seven years, but I'm looking to dip my toe back into tabletop play, at least on an infrequent basis. My time is relatively limited (I've got a new baby and a kindergartener who carve up a lot of my free time nowadays), but I'd love to sit in on a Castles & Crusades, OSR, Mongoose Traveller or nWoD (I've got the core, HtV, Promethean and Changeling) game at least periodically.

My preference is for games where fluff is more important than crunch, but I can roll with whatever, so long as I get a heads-up in advance for what sort of game it is.

I'm based in Redlands, but can travel as far as the High Desert, Pomona, Riverside or Beaumont as needed.

Alright. I'm looking to find a group of online roleplayers, preferably who play by chat system. If you insist on voice chat, i'm willing to do that, but I write better than I talk. I like serious roleplaying, but if said group (serious) has pranksters, all the better.

As for the method of gaming, i'm looking for a chat box system (or something like it), so you can 'speak privately' to other characters if need be. I've done forum posting before, and i'm not too fond of it, if only because the rps I joined were disorganized and every character was trying to hog the spotlight/lead the plot. A lack of organization didn't help either. That said, if your playing over skype or forum posting (and your organized), i'm willing to give it another shot.

Experience: I play 3.5, 3.75, GURPS 3rd, and Battletech. I've played a bit in a battletech rp game, and it was fun while it lasted. I write fiction and read. I read a lot. Fanfiction (10% out there worth dying for), paperbacks (oddly enough, I handle audiobooks better than paperbacks), storys storys storys. I love them.

What i'm looking for: D&D 3.5, online. Battletech on the side. I'm in a Fantasy groove right now, so i'd be more inclined to scratch that itch. I'm hoping for a full gaming system. Character sheets, dice generators, and all. My afternoons/evenings are relatively free. I'm never far from my laptop.

Know a few things first. I cant randomly generate a character. I just cant. The closest I can manage is a half baked idea that I can build on, and I want to stick with a game till the end. I love long games with big plots.

I try to be a tolerant person. If I disagree with someone, I can still work with them. You dont have to see eye to eye to work shoulder to shoulder. However I have issues with elves, particularly self important elves. If someone is trying to pass their tiefling or elf off as a special snowflake, I wont be able to take them seriously. The worse it is... well I dont know how I will handle it. Never been pushed that far before. If your elf or tielfing is convincing and interesting, i'm all for it.

And then there is sex. Sex exists. It happens. And in real life, sometimes occurs near you or to you. Unless it adds to the story, it does not need to be there. That said, if it does, we should handle it as adults. It goes off to its own box or to be co-written elsewhere. I am not against it so long as it is well written and well thought out.

I prefer to be a team player, but i'm currently experimenting with characters than are new to teamwork, and getting a first taste for it.

I live in Washington state, so i'm on Seattle Time.

And finally, my storys flow better than this half baked bit I wrote up in the space of 25 miniuts. Let me know. Also, let me know if there is anything else you want to know about me/my characters/whatnot.

I'm looking for a couple of players to join a new group for a fortnightly campaign of 'Advanced Labyrinth Lord' (Labyrinth Lord with the Advanced Edition Companion). The campaign is to be run on alternative Sundays in a quiet pub in Isleworth, West London, starting at around 1pm and finishing up around 5pm. There is plenty of car parking close by and decent transport links; I can give you any details you need on that. (Legendarily, the pub is almost impossible to find on the first attempt without good directions!) The campaign is to begin on June 2nd; there are three players already, but I would like a couple more if possible.

The intention is to run a module-based campaign; basically there are a stack of old Judges Guild modules that I've never really had a chance to run in the past, and I'd like to give them a go – with some modifications, of course! Lots of mysterious old dungeons, long-lost forgotten cults and other such goodness...as well as the occasional dragon, of course! The only prior knowledge you need is your dice and a pencil...and we even have some spare dice...

She continued for a while via Skype, but then she got roped into a local game, so I'm a player short at the moment. Rio Vista is on the edge of both the SF bay Area and the central valley. Currently my players come from Fairfield, Livermore, and Modesto (but that's my sister and she stays so she can take our 93 yr old mother to bingo on Sunday). Yep, we're older gamers.

The Setting In A Nutshell

It is the 9th century and the Beloved Son of Heaven Hantei XXVI is entering his second decade of rule. Continuing his father’s traditions, he has performed great administrative reforms, spreading the power of the Throne through an expanded bureaucracy and turned the Imperial Villa of Shika Kouen into a haven of culture and art. Recent events and the love of Hantei XXVI for said Imperial Villa turned it into the second most important court of the Empire, in some fields eclipsing even the Imperial Court of Otosan Uchi and the bureaucratic juggernauts of Kyuden Otomo and Kyuden Doji. The court of Shika Kouen's is often called Night Court; due to its spontaneous meetings and apparently never-ending backroom dealings.

It has been an era of peace, but the road ahead is bumpy with challenges. Over the past few years several crisis have been building up, and are ready to implode at any moment. Some of the most problematic include:

* A very recent, prolonged, costly and altogether odd conflict between the Unicorn, Dragon and Phoenix. This war left the northern Rokugan impoverished and produced many ronins amongst all the clans involved.

* The theologically cataclysmic event known as the Great Schism is tearing the Seppun, the Dragon and the Brotherhood apart. There seems to be no easy resolution in sight, but if this issue is not quickly contained, it might consume Rokugan in religious warfare.

* Hantei XXVI has no children of his own and the Imperial Heir is his younger brother. The Imperial authority is strong, and some agents in the shadows whisper about the Prophecies of Uikuu and that Rokugan needs a strong Hantei family. Those voices in the darkness look at the many bastards of Hantei XXV, many of them important men and women of the Empire. Are they inevitable danger or beacons of salvation? Either way, everyone sees them as an opportunity.
