I would like to try to play through the World's Largest Dungeon on a pbp. I was just wondering if anyone would be interesting in playing it if I DM'ed it. I would need to know how to post image files onto my posts though, can anyone help me with that? Anyway I would like to try to DM it for a party of 4-6 people.
If interested here are the character creation rules:
4d6, dropping the lowest to get stats. Arrange as desired and reroll any 1's.
Maximum wealth for your class and add 500 gold pieces.
I don't mind any savage races, just make sure I know the progression. If you would like to be race with a level adjustment talk to me about it.
Post character sheets here please.
This would be the first game I've DM'ed pbp so be patient. So let the games begin, the first 6 to post expressing interest to play can play.

I'd be willing to come in to. I'm enjoying the other PbP, and I've got plenty of time for updating. However, if slots fill fast enough that someone not in the other PbP doesn't get in, I'll give up my spot for them. I don't want to be in two PbP if it means shutting someone else out.
I'll play as a... well, I'm flexible, so I'll wait till the other two say what they want before I decide.
Can we use the variant base classes this guy made? I can perfectly understand if you don't want to, I think they are a little more powerful. But I do think they add a little more flexibility to the base classes. And they're cool. If not, then I'll probably play sorcerer or druid.
As it is the worlds largest dungeon, I'm sure we'll get to a somewhat high level. So what are you're rules on PrCs? None at all, only core, or do we have to post them for approval. And no, I won't try to use any broken PrCs if they are allowed, since I generally discourage power-gaming.
Am I correct in assuming we start at level 1? If this is the case, carefully moderate any level adjustment races people ask for.
According to this test, I am a Lawful Good Gnome Paladin with the following ability scores:
Str. 10
Dex. 15
Con. 16
Int. 15
Wis. 10
Cha. 12
The test said it, not me. :\

Well, I might think about being.... :P Who knows really.... Yea, I'd like to see what others come up with b4 I settle on nething. Otherwise i might be a scout or a ninija. (If completes are aloud?) I would be perfectly fine with anything tho, but i don't know what race I'd be... I may also look into being something psionic? If i could be a blue, (+1 level adjustment, psionic goblins) or just a psionic race in general, (half giant, elan, dromite, etc.) I may also decide to be.... an Aasimar or Tiefling. But in the end, any race will do, those are just a few to throw out there... (at this point in character dev. for me, everything is very fluid. X_X
Ok keep the books to these please: Complete Series, Miniature's Handbook, Forgotten Realms material, DMG, DMG2, PHB, MM1, MM3, Libris Mortis, Dracomonicon, and Lords of Madness.
Sorry I don't have any of the psionic books, and I prefer we don't use the variant sorceror blade it seems a little bit to strong. I would be willing to give sorcers bonus metamagic feats like the wizard. Sorceror gets to choose a draconic heritage feat from complete arcane or can choose a metamagic feat. How does that sound?
A young, scruffy red-haired Dwarf steps into the tavern and wanders over to a table where several adventurers sit planning their dungeon excursion. The handle of a large axe gently slides through his sweaty hand, the axe head hitting the floor with a resounding *thud*, as he loudly speaks, "What is this 'World's Largest Dungeon' you speak of? Surely there is no dungeon too large for the likes of me!"
Max hitpoints for first level we will roll for the others. Those stats seem correct to me, and I will mark you down as a dwarven fighter. This game will be 3.5ed. I will expect your character soon
Do you want your characters to know each other or do you prefer to roleplay out a meeting? I'm still not decided on why you will be going to the dungeon, but once I see your characters I'm sure I can think of a reason.
On PrCs please tell me if you plan to go into one, I would like to read up on it before it surprises me.

That's a great site for storing and sharing you characters, btw. You'll have to register first (http://www.dndonlinegames.com/register.php?) and then you can use the 3eprofiler database (http://www.dndonlinegames.com/cview.php) to store your characters. It will even do some of the calculations for you. Pretty good forums for PbP too, as they have [ dice ] tags.
Regarding starting - I'm fine with just saying we've been hired by some noble / crazy wizard / rich dude to recover their daughter / magic artifact / expensive treasure from the World's Largest Dungeon! I haven't read the module yet, does it have any adventure hooks?

Okay, ignore the two "rerolls" after my first roll. The program is giving me some stupid @#$%. Here are my rolls.
16
9
12
17
18
12
All in all, fairly satisfactory, accept for the nine.
I'm thinking of playing a sorcerer. As to the Draconic feats Rapida, that perfectly fine by me. It'll mean that the sorcerer isn't completely outshone by wizard (since wizards get Scribe Scroll at first level, would I get the Draconic Heritage feat automatically, or will I have to choose it as my first level feat?).

Wis. 10
Cha. 12

That seems like a fair trade to me Blade. Could you show me how you got your stats, the number of rolls has me a little confused. Just use the number of the roll in the left most column.
How should I do this? I mean I don't think I need to post a map for each room or anything but what about hallways and such? Like I said I've never dm'ed a pbp before so I wasn't sure what the normal protocall was. Is it best if I only describe the rooms and halls that are missing encounters? Then again that would give you guys a big hint on to when an encounter is. Then again the majority of rooms have encounters so I wasn't sure how it is done. I don't guess it was that wise for me to volunteer to host such a huge endeavor but I would like to try. Anyway any suggestions on making this any easier to show you?
