Well guys I just checked my email and low and behold there was an email from the Man, the Myth, the Legend....Nightcloak. He says that his computer had crapped out on him and once he got a new computer Enworld was down (they were having trouble there for about a month) when he tried logging on several times so he figured the site was down permanently. But he says that he's going to try and log on sometime soon, he's just a bit busy with life and such. So soon we will have NC back as part of GMF.

I say we elect a new cousel, if that's all swell. I mean, sure, there are some which are still here, but IIRC, there's one or two who I don't think I've even ever seen

I think we should atleast attempt to make contact with all of the current Counsel members first and give them a chance to say if they wish to come back or not, afterall they were decided upon as counsel members for a reason, not just because they posted alot. A few emails could bring them all back to the GMF full of ideas and filled with enthusiasm.

Thanks Catavarie, I've been lurking here and at the WotC boards for couple months now, mainly on school comps. With football hitting its climax (Go fight NHS!) I might find myself with even less time! But I figure what the hell few mins now and then taken from sack time cant hurt to much..... right?

Thank you Catavarie for emailing me, or I would have never known that this place still existed. I was seriously bummed when I thought this place was down for good. I was realy quite surprised and happy to read your email.
And I read on another post that Nyaricus also tried to email me back a month or two ago. Sorry, I never got that one. I don't know if ws me, my system, or the wife's yahoo acount that gobbles up my email sometimes. But thanks for trying.

I lost my hard drive, with tons of D&D stuff including my home campaign, the game I was starting here, the notebook I wrote here , and to make matters worse we had a family tragedy that occupied my time. The real kick to the dice bag was thinking that this place went down for good.
What happened here anyways. I tried for like a month to reach ENWorld but couldn't get on?
But the rebuilding has begun indeed. For I have discovered that this place does exists, Catavarie saved my notebook (man, someday we need to meet cause I'm buying. And when I drink, it's grey goose, nothing cheap here ), and the GMF is struggling to rise like a pheonix into a new incarnation that promises to be better than ever.
I'm no legend, or myth.
But the GMF should be one and I say that it starts today!!!
Glad to see your back NC, now we're just missing: Mordmorgan, BSF, Cal, and Y.O. to have all the counsel members back.
