What's with this bug? I had an on-again, off-again cold and fever leading to Christmas until I had to put my foot down and stop committing to so many Christmas activities, I was gonna burn out (I hyperventilated at one point). Thank goodness I was well for Christmas itself. You take care Shade.

Sorry for the disappearing act, but I've managed to catch a delightful mix of sore throat, coughing, and loss of voice.
Wow. Sorry to hear you have been ill.
I once had a nasty cold, sore throat, almost no ability to swallow and lost my voice. I was really unhappy that I could only do a strange croaky voice and couldn't do any of the daft impersonations I normally do to cheer myself up.
Then one day I noticed that when I have almost no voice, I can do Road to Hell by Chris Rea! That cheered me up and helped me get through the rest of the illness without dying of boredom.
