Amazon thinks the Gargantuan Draco is out 8/19

I just received this email from Amazon:

Dear Amazon.com Customer,
We've noticed that customers who have purchased or rated Pyramid of Shadows (Dungeons & Dragons, Adventure H3) by Mike Mearls have also purchased D&D Icons: Gargantuan Dracolich (D&D Miniatures Product) by Wizards Miniatures Team. For this reason, you might like to know that D&D Icons: Gargantuan Dracolich (D&D Miniatures Product) will be released on August 19, 2008. You can pre-order yours by following the link below.

I'm thinking that they just didn't get the memo... unless WotC is trying to sneak this on in under the radar.

Any confirmation either way?

I got that email too, and found it strange since I had heard (from here!) that that specific item was at best on hiatus and at worst cancelled.

Thats right: The Dracolich and Orcus were supposed to be on hold.

At least according to the rouse.

Ditto.

Within the broad parameters give in the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Volumes, YOU are creator and final arbiter. By ordering things as they should be, the game as a WHOLE first, your CAMPAIGN next, and your participants thereafter, you will be playing Advanced Dungeons and Dragons as it was meant to be. May you find as much pleasure in so doing as the rest of us do.

The thread is about Amazon releasing the figure on 08/19, and you posted at 08:19. Freaky!

Strange. I couldn't care less about Orcus, but I've got a blue dracolich that features prominently IMC. I'd also kill (ritual sacrifice?) for a Demogorgon mini.
