I didn't know there was a steam-powered airplane that flew, but I recently read an article about it:

That's pretty cool!

It reminds me- years ago, I ran a superheroic game set in 1900- one of the main minions of the BBEG had a steam-powered suit of power armor who used some of the boiler's flames for his arm-mounted flamethrowers.

My players and I thought that was pretty crafty...but somone pointed out to me that there was a comic book from the 1930s (as I recall) that had that same essential character.

Sigh...

Had I known about this plane, I might have used those instead of or in addition/opposition to "cavorite" gliders.
