I'm veering *this* close to making a Demogorgon picture myself, just to see what would come out. If I do, I'll certainly Cthulhify him a bit more...

I don't think this is one of the better illustrations of Demogorgon that I've seen. It's not bad except for two things that just really bug the heck out of me. I much prefer the one from the cover of Dungeon last year, or heck even the hyena headed one from the BoVD.
Huh. I really like WAR's Dungeon cover, but the hyena headed BoVD is one of the worst Demogorgon pictures. And not just because it was "wrong" it's also just one of the techncally least appealing IMO.
I prefer Steve Prescott's Dungeon cover or Andrew Hou's Dragon cover. Or even the FC1 illustration; that one's pretty good.
