This is the week where we get to see a virtual flood of third party support for 4th Edition under the GSL. Let's create a list of everything that's being released. I'll start:

Goodman has 2 more new adventures (that makes it 6 total?), but it is old news:

Wyvern Mountain

I'm looking forward to November with the release of the 2 sourcebooks...

I'm really curious about PDFs. I posted a thread on the publisher's forum at RPGNow, but that forum has been dead since they moved it to RPGLife.com

Here's what we at Expeditious Retreat Press will have available in October.

Advanced Player's Guide: Will be available from our website on the 1st, but we missed the two-week delayed release date by a single day *sigh* so the books won't get into FLGS until the first full week in October. I wish that wasn't the case, but that's how it is. We've shipped some pre-orders today and will ship the remaining pre-orders tomorrow.

Plague: This will be available at our website on the 1st and should be at FLGS on the first as well.

Lands of Darkness #1: The Barrow Grounds: This will be available at our website on the 1st and hit FLGS in the 1st full week of October.

For PDFs at Your Games Now all of the above products will be available on October the First.

I expect that a lot of publishers are in wait-and-see mode (again), now that there are revisions supposedly coming to the GSL Real Soon Now (tm).

Not too many publishers would want to get on board with a license that has announced changes which nobody has seen yet.

Interesting that those and the other new 4e Dungeon Crawl Classics are marked as for the 4e rules set but do not say GSL the way Goodman's upcoming dragonborn, class book, generic non DCC adventure compilation, and the December dated Dungeon Denizens are labeled as rule set 4e (GSL).

Its not clear yet what Goodman is doing with the GSL and their actual DCC modules.

I know Final Redoubt Press is releasing its 4e critical hits product as a pdf on Oct. 1. I presume this is a GSL product.

We don't care because we were okay with the old license. If the "new" license is supposed to be more open, I can't imagine we'll have issues with it. Was everyone just a hell no before the announced revision?

I can't speak for anyone else, but ENP was. Too much invested in a catalogue of OGL products (at least one line of which is still continuing) to drop them all in favour of a fresh start with GSL products. s6 was a deal-breaker.

We only had a handful of products, so it wasn't a big deal for us. I can see why that turned off a lot of people though. I thought you were planning on converting War of the Burning Sky though?

Dreamscarred Press has Phrenic Shards - a first look at the "phrenic power source" for 4E: Phrenic Power: Phrenic Shards and we have a number of other projects in the pipeline for 4E, depending on how the market turns out.
