While I haven't seen any posts yet by people who have the books. There is apparently some mention of how to work the Great Wheel into 4e. Perhaps that could be of some interest to you?
I noticed that while reading the thread. I also noticed that Sigil gets four pages.

I have to admit that I'll be taking a serious look at the 4E MotP. I'm not likely to convert ot 4e (ever) but perhaps I can mine the book for my own cosmology. I don't like the names "Shadowfell" or "Feywild" but I'm interested in reading about those two new planes "fluffy bits."

I like Sep's Afqithan plane in his story hour and I want to create my own version. My version might be built out of combining those the two 4e planes into one planar concept.

And while I didn't like the idea of the Astral Sea at first, I definitely like the connections being made to Spelljammer. Anything Spelljammer related is good, IMO. Of course, my cosmology doesn't have an Astral plane so I would likely steal the best stuff from the Astra Sea and incorporate it into my Farspace concept (see this thread).

*Nods* Mining books for ideas is always good. Lol, I have to admit the only one constant I think I ever have when it comes to dragging something directly from D&D canon into my planes is Sigil :P Everything else is give or take, one setting Astral Sea exists the next Mechanus exists, etc.

Yep, I agree.

Sigil is a constant in any cosmology I come up with for D&D. It is the ultimate planar city. But even my version of Sigil is different than the official version (i.e. no Faction War).

City of Brass falls into that category for me, as well. Also, I like Union but it isn't required, IMO.

When it comes to the Blood War, I can leave it or take it. There has to be an Abyss, a Hell plane, and a Heaven plane, however.
