Convention GARY CON I, March 7th in Lk Geneva

Greetings Seekers,

I want to announce that there will be a memorial game day held March 7th, 2009 at the American Legion Hall in Lake Geneva, WI to honor the memory of my father. This is going to be a mini-con with a throwback vibe reminescent of a Spring Revel, Winter Fantasy or early Gen Con (in fact it is being held at the site of Gen Con V). We will gather together, old friends and new, to game, swap stories and generally have a good time. Many notable authors and game designers from the early days of gaming will be there. The Legion Hall opens at 10am and there is no charge to enter. Bring your favorite game and join me in remembering the Father of Role-Playing Games on March 7th in Lake Geneva.

I thought it was Pladoh, not Playdoh. You know you're pop wouldn't want to have to give royalties to another corporation.

And shouldn't you be a Major by now?!

Yes. I absentmindedly put the "y" in playdoh vice pladoh like Dad- you caught me I am still a Captain and I am not eligible for promotion until next year. And then it would be a fast track selection. So probably CPT for a couple more years.
