If it really does have the Gnome, Half-Orc, Barbarian, Druid and Bard in it, then I want it. After I get Dungeon Delve, that should finalize all I need in the way of HC books for 4e.

I want it too, but not so much for the Bard and sorcerer. Never been a fan of my players playing bards

Now druids, those I really, really want.

I asked him, 'How can you keep such a large elephant tied to such a small stake?' He said, 'When the elephants are small, they try to pull out the stake, and they fail. When they grow large, they never try to pull out the stake again.' That parable reminds me that we have to go for what we think we're fully capable of, not limit ourselves by what we've been in the past." -Vivek Paul

As someone who just made a 7th-level druid that will see play tonight, I second this.

Bah, 5E sucks, it's not even real D&D anymore. The developers focused so much on making it immersive and versimilitudinous, they totally forgot about combat. I wish they had focused on the G part a bit more, and not so much on the RP!

Maybe the inevitable 5.5 will be decent...

We've already got two Primal classes in our Scales of War game, Druid and Barbarian. And I think the Swordmage might multi into a Bard. He can be a swordsinger.

Controllers. A couple designers mentioned they've pinned down controllers in the PHB 2, so I wanna see invokers, druids, and sorcerers (if they're still gonna be controllers).

I'm really keen on the Avenger and Invoker classes, and the Deva race.

I can't wait myself. For now I have to settle for GGs versions of those classes, which are awesome and IMO WoTC has to do a good job with the Druid, Barbarian, Bard, and Monk to even come close.

I sound too serious for this thread, oh well I'm all witted out...especially with that spice girls post.

Awesome
Sorc's a striker, but it has a few area attacks (the Dragon Magic path has a ton of close blast 3s), so it could probably do for a controller in a pinch. Much more about the damage than the debuffs, though.

I'm more interested in the upcoming STAR WARS material and in 6th Edition come GenCon.

That's the Sixth Edition of the HERO System, of course. There are other RPGs in the world.
