Convention GaryCon -Free Gary Gygax Memorial Convention

GaryCon is a mini-con as a memorial to Gary Gygax, creator of Dungeons and Dragons and many other games.
We will be gathering on March 7th and 8th, 2009, at the American Legion Hall in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Some of the better known faces you might see include Frank Mentzer, Jim Ward, Tom Wham, Ernie Gygax, Luke Gygax, Steve Chenault and K.R.Bourgoine and MANY more.

Gary Con is a free convention, open to all. The tentative hours are 10am to 10pm on Saturday, with the possibility of gaming continuing on Sunday.

Greetings,

I wanted to give everybody an update on Gary Con. It is a memorial weekend of gaming held March 7 & 8 at the American Legion Hall in Lake Geneva, WI. It is a free event where friends and fellow gamers get together and enjoy open gaming in the spirit of the original conventions back in the 70s and early 80s. There will be several old TSR designers there and a few will undoubtedly GM their favorite campaigns. So far I know that Frank Mentzer, Jim Ward, Tim Kask, Tom Wham and Ernie Gygax will be there from the original TSR crew. Many other great folks are coming too.
