Anyone else seen this book yet? I got mine in the mail today. I didn't even realize it was out. The book looks good. it was defiantly written for people who have read the books and have an understanding of the setting before they go to the game. There is not a lot of setting information in here, but enough to cover the basics. It is its own system so like any game like that the mechanics are the majority of the book.
Excellent Stuff!
How many pages? Anything that sticks out as particularly cool?
Best Regards

He who is certain he knows the ending of things when he is only beginning them is either extremely wise or extremely foolish; no matter which is true, he is certainly an unhappy man, for he has put a knife in the heart of wonder. Tad Williams
It's a free preview PDF from Green Ronin. Looks pretty streamlined over the Guardians of Order version. (I'm playing the Guardians of Order version now).
The site still says that the book isn't out yet -- Did you order from Green Ronin directly?
(The above link can be found off Green Ronin's page, if anyone skiddish about using a link from a random forum poster.)

GOO's version was d20 based, this one is its own system. I got it directly from GR so they might have sent it out as it also got sent out to stores. I like skipping the middle man.
I read throught the quick play, it seems pretty good. I may pick it up, it will look nice on the shelf next to all the other non D&D books i don't get use out of.
You probably shouldn't have posted that publically. Now I expect a full and comprehensive review from Crothian
I like the game. A full review though will have to wait and I might not get to it. I'm back in college and the quarter is almost up. So, papers and projects all due next week with finals the week after.
Since I can't do that the next best thing is to start a thread and answer people's questions.

Can you edit thread titles from the forum index? (It's a somewhat new feature that works by double-clicking next to the thread title. Not sure who can use it, though.) If not, I'll take care of it.

How much of it is in color? And how does the art measure up to other rpgs? The GoO book was ok, but some of the art really, really didn't work for me. Overall i am much more interested in GR's version.
The whole rulebook is full color. This first book is mostly rules, though it does have an overview of Westeros. This summer we're publishing the Campaign Guide, which is a 256 full on setting book (also full color).
