I was utterly unsurprised to get this email the day after PHB2's release date:
That's three for three - I don't have Adventurer's Vault or Martial Power, either.
Is it just me, or are D&D books just not making it over this side of the pond or something?
I hope to hold my PHB 2 in my hands in a few minutes, when I go to the nearby post office. Must be an Amazon (UK?) specific problem. Dragonworld in Germany seems to do okay.
Though they had some problems - apparently, the original distributor they used has changed prices, and so they have to use a different one, meaning that pre-ordering is basically impossible, and they have trouble restocking or so. So far, I didn't have big problems, though the first batch of Open Grave was apparantly sold out before I noticed it had become available, forcing me to wait...

I've had great luck with Bookdepository.co.uk, decent prices and free worldwide shipping.
I live in Ireland too. Their customer service is fantastic; personal emails. They emailed to tell me my PHBII would be delayed, as they had it listed for the 1st of March. I'm hoping to get it in the next few days.
Anyway, they get the thumbs up from me.
ASIDE: I got it for 14 sterling (around 18 euro delivered), pretty snazzy, it was a pre-order deal. Oh I was making out like a bandit on the site, just after Christmas with the great Euro/Sterling rates, got a load of DND books.
EDIT: Jez, must suck to be in the UK at the moment, things have nearly doubled in price...

Amazon in Europe seems to have become terrible at fulfilling D&D orders on time. Others online shops in Europe don't have any problems stocking the latest releases. I just placed an order for PH2 and P3 from Games Lore.

Amazon is £8 cheaper than them so if you are prepared to wait then Amazon eventually delivers. The fact they are near £5 above the RRP doesn't strike me as decent prices.

Well, considering that my FLGS buys them from an English dsitributor and expect them any day now, I'd say that they do get over the pond.
Why Amazon (UK, I suppose) can't get them in stock seems odd. Perhaps Amazon buys them and then decides that all books will be needed for the US market?
I live in the US so apples<>oranges, but I used super-saver shipping and preordered it about a month and a half ago. Came yesterday (on the actual release date!!).
That's a first for Amazon. They got me Adventurer's Vault and FRPG two days after their release, but in the past Amazon always seemed to take one or two weeks to get the books out. Granted, it was worth it to save money over the bookstore, but it was cruddy nonetheless.

I managed to get it. Cancelled the Amazon pre-order and went into town. Waterstones didn't have it, but Forbidden Planet did. I also picked up Batman RIP. Bonus.

I've always had bad luck preordering gaming books through Amazon. It usually seems to take them several weeks after release to get small publishers' gaming products. With WotC products, I suspect they just accept more preorders then they can fill in at the time of release. I only preorder RPGs from Amazon if the price is very good, and I'm not worried about getting the book right at release time.

Mine arrived from amazon today according to tracking, just need to go pick it up at my po box, the 8 pack of power cards i ordered from paizo on the other hand seems to be a no go.
I was so impressed with Amazon's service, I cancelled my order with them and bought the PDF from Drivethru. Time from order to delivery = less than 3 minutes.
I've got the PHB1 for leaning character sheets on if short on table space, so extra hardbacks are superfluous. Also, this way I can read it at work discreetly
(As a bonus, it should be easy enough to apply errata.)
