| Dragonborn "uh-oh" on my PHB cover?! I'm not sure this has been posted here (though I doubt I'm the first to see it), but:
Did anyone else look at the cover of the 4e PHB and see the Dragonborn's... codpeice on his platemail?
I just noticed it, and I need to discuss my trauma with the rest of the gaming community.
Ok, maybe I'm wrong, but the spike is the same color as his scales.
Maybe it's magic plate? Or spiked plate?
It does explain the racial Cha bonus.
How did WOTC not see this? They're gamers, this is EXACTLY the sort of thing they should notice first! |

This really does seem like what the OP is implying...

| Lizards have internal genitalia.
Isn't that a relief...
But, then again, maybe it's a special power!
Feat:
"Scary Thrust" Prereq: Dragoborn, male, only.
1/day versus a Prone foe, you can do " The Deed" on them.
Requires "Oil of Slipperines" for male targets though

That is a cloaca. |

Dragonborn are humanoid forms derived from the spilt blood of Io, right? Without evolution, or a specific reason, I don't see why they wouldn't have a... a... !
Phallic: Hey, I never said Phallic, you said it. My point exactly: gamers = humans = minds in the gutter. But you know what I mean.
The worst part is I'm a fan of 4e. I like Pathfinder, in theory, but playing 4e is more fun. How can I look at the PHB without feeling... (love that smilie, btw)
EDIT: Actually, a series of stickers could do a good job. What would be appropriate... |

| Careful. Talking about Dragonborn sex organs is close to violating EN World's penile code.

serious mode: Understood. However, I am quite serious that I want to know if anyone else thinks that it is what it looks like to me.
I like a wide range of fantasy art, and I'm not easily offended. I just want to know that it isn't what it looks like; I mean, was some printer offended by the new edition and felt it necesary to re-paint that section to make a point? Or is this just a harmless mistake that happened to land on the cover of a controversial new edition? Or am I totally crazy?
Or is it a conspiracy by the Gub'ment? |

| Interesting choice to put this thread under "equipment".

Having a backstory is good. Using this backstory in game is better. And for that you need background skills. |
