4e / GSL Can I access full books on DDI?

I know that I can access all of the content of every book published to date, but can I access a copy of each book itself? It would be nice to be able to have access to all the pictures, fluff, advice, etc. that can't be found in the Compendium (or can it?).

(I should note that I haven't subscribed to DDI, but am considering doing so, especially if such a feature exists )

No. Indeed, you can't even access all the content of every book published to date. Right now we are limited to Races, Classes, Deities, Items, Creatures, Epic Destinies, Paragon Paths, Rituals, Feats, Powers and Skills. If it doesn't fit into one of those pigeonholes, it's not accessible (except maybe through the Character Builder).

There was a plan to give access to full online, update books when you bought the hardcopy. Between the announcement and the release of 4E they discovered that implementation wasn't workable at this time.

Also, this month they will be adding more rules to the Compendium; combat rules, skill rules, keywords, etc.

You can download all the art from the books released each month as well.
