War of the Burning Sky - Black and White print uberbook 3e?
I saw the 4e WotBS thread, and it reminded me that I want to buy WotBS 3e...but that I am holding off to get it a bit cheaper in black and white instead of glorious color.
Any news/estimate of if this has happened or when it will become available?
Thanks!

According to the official website and the ENPublishing forum only the full color version is available and there is no word on the B/W version other than there is going to be one released.

Russ will likely see this once he's on, and I'm sure he'll answer. I don't personally know.

The b/w version exists - I just haven't found time to get it up on sale yet! I'll try and get it done this week; it'll only take half-an-hour or so, so I'm sure I'll be able to squeeze it in!
May I ask why the B&W version has 68 pages less than the color one?

60-odd pages of full colour maps at the back which look gorgeous in colour, but terrible in black and white. No point forcing you to pay for 60 pages which you'll only wince at when you see them. They're not essential - they're just full page versions of the maps already found earlier in the book, which look OK in b/w at the smaller size.

Sounds reasonable.
Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to get this, I'm afraid I'll have to wait until better financial times. Even at the reasonable $49.99 price tag, shipping to me is too expensive: $39 for economic shipping (without tracking), and the other options are above $100 ($199 for expedited shipping)!

I assume you're not in the US then? Anywhere in the US should not cost more than $8-$10 max shipping.
Shipping a 5 lb package elsewhere, though, starts geting very expensive.
$50?!? Nice! I think I may actually break down and buy it at that price.

You assume correctly. Being in the southern hemisphere (Uruguay), adds a great toll to buying physical RPG books in the form of shipping fees...
