Games You Want to Play

What games would you like to play, but haven't had the chance, yet (or lately)?

A few of mine:

Traveller (classic)
In a Wicked Age
Trail of Cthulhu
Mutant Future

For me off the top of my head:
  • Spirit of The Century
  • Trail of Cthulhu
  • Eclipse Phase (not out yet but I want to play it!)
Now if you don't include DMing in that playing many more games I want to get a chance to play a PC in :P
Edit: Thought of two more:
  • Hot War
  • Cold City

Toon!
Year of the Zombie

I own both of these games but I've never had the chance to run or play them yet.

I also would love to play more Paranoia and Feng Shui. I also own both of these games but have only played both of them once (and had a lot of fun with each of them).

Unfortunately I only get to game once a fortnight now and that's my D&D game so other games tend to get left out. One day though, one day.

Something that does steampunk really well. For real 1800s setting with Steam and all that.

Hmm, I cannot think of any seriously.

I'd like to play Deadlands again, and probably will when our group finishes the Wotc AP

I'd be interested in doing SEttlers of CAtaan, if I had people who played boardgames

Talisman would be cool to play again. Now there was an unbalanced game!!

On the non-RPG front, I might be interested in Battletech and the Battlestar Galactica Board Game. Didn't manage so far to find people with time to play.

On the RPG front, I'd like to run or play Mutants & Masterminds, at least once.
I wouldn't mind playing Shadowrun again, either.

And one of those games Doug McRae mentioned, I'd like to at least play once to belong to the "cool crowd" that knows such games. I actually find them interesting, but I am not sure I or my group will enjoy them - but only playing will tell!

OD&D(1974). So I can join the popular club of, uh. . . diaglo and Philotomy Jurament, I believe.

Not really. But I've been curious about it for a few years now (didn't even know it existed until then, having started with BD&D, then AD&D, etc.) Truth is, I'll end up running this, not playing. Still, that mightn't be so bad.

Something (even more) rules light. I've tried In A Wicked Age, and liked it, so maybe a game along those lines, or thereabouts.

I dunno. Pathfinder, probably, because it's the new improved 3e. We'll see. And well, whatever else comes along and looks good. I'm slutty that way.

I'd like to play the R. Talsorien version of Castle Falkenstein some day - have had the rulesbook since it came out, just never had the chance to play it. The use of cards rather than dice is an intriguingly different concept.

I also wouldn't mind trying out Castles & Crusades to see how playable the SIEGE Engine is.

And I'd like to introduce my present group to Paranoia, just to see how many clones I can kill before the Mission Briefing starts...

Just off the top of my head - Unhallowed Metropolis, D&D 4e, and Unknown Armies as I've a mad on for each but no opportunities locally. And no real time, either unfortunately.

I would love the opportunity to play:

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay - a grim, gritty adventure path. I think I would be tempted to play a rat-catcher.

Pathfinder - as soon as it is released, although chances are I will end up GMing a game rather than getting to play in one

Bloodbowl - and I am the Middenheim Marauders

Spelljammer - probably best in 3.5e or Pathfinder, but I would even play it in 2e if I had to.

Midnight - okay, another setting, but I would love the chance to play a game in this setting

Dark Heresy - an amazing RPG book to read through, and I am sure it would be fun to play with a mature GM

Phew ... that is enough for now. Sad reality is that I will almost certainly not get a chance to play any of these (although will GM Pathfinder)

The board game? I've never thought of it as unbalanced. I've had equal luck winning or losing no matter what character I draw (we draw randomly).
