This seems to be a new type of article for Dungeon:
Campaign Workbook: The Blasphemer
Yesterday I couldn't access the PDF, today it works.

It describes "The Blasphemer", a creature apparently described in one of the Eberron novels. It comes with suggestions how to use it in your campaign and lots of background information. And of course, it comes with a stat block.

Very interesting. I suppose this is a little much fluff for a monster manual entry, but it is interesting.

Unexpected to me - "The Blasphemer" is just a "regular" level 22 monster, not an Elite or Solo. What seems to be an error to me - it's a Soldier with an aura ability that helps its allies (if they are Minions). I think it should have the Leader subrole.

I like how they added more descriptive text to the power, describing what it actually supposed to do in the game world.

Also interesting - it has a special ability that allows it to sustain one of its powers (an encounter power) when it saves against the stun or dazed condition. That might be a neat general approach to avoid stun-locking of monsters, at least for (new) Elites and Solos.

Yes, the link was broken yesterday. But I found it by changing the path to Download - 169_Blasphemer.pdf, as it's the usual "link-style" of DDI articles.

Curiously enough, it appears that instead of fixing the link, they rather changed the location (or the protection) of the .pdf. As it is now, it is available even if you aren't logged in to DDI! Rookie mistake, WotC.

Otherwise a cool article.

It might be intentional, as this appears to be a series marketing their novels.
