Are Any of the AEG Mini-Adventures Outstanding?

DriveThruRPG has PDFs of the old AEG 'mini-adventures' on sale for only 63 cents each. Are any of them particularly good? I'm not just looking for another 'ok' dungeon crawl. I am looking for clever/interesting/unique ideas and adventures.

No. They're really not.

With work, they're passable entertainment for a short session.

I got some mileage out of a couple, using bits as ongoing plot points. But that wasn't so much due to excellence of the mini-adventures -- indeed, the elements I turned into plot fodder were ridiculously overpowered magic items in low-level games.

In general, what Jeff said.

Actually, they were cleaned up and repurposed as 3.5 adventures in AEG's Adventure I and Adventure II.

It's a better buy if you can get the PDF of these. You get a good mix of adventures, some hit and miss, but they are good for mining ideas, NPCs and locations.

Sadly, none were outstanding. But there are some neat ideas and I got use out of Adventure 1 & 2.
