I've had a Twitter account for a couple of months now, and haven't actually worked out what to do with it. Then it occured to me it would be a good way to pass on info when the site's slow, when I'm away from my PC, for quick news scoops when I don't have time, means, or access to put them on the news page, or... well... I'm sure there are other times!

Very cool!

Glad to see this happen, especially after throwing the idea out a few months back - I think it's great

And like you said, there are a lot of other things you could use it for that people would be interested in seeing.
