It's hard to choose. I like 'm all. I decided to go after the sorcerer, since he made the warlock redundant, and I love the warlock! Oh, well. I like them all!

"Oh, wow, a monster who wears glasses?" Peter asked. "Is he defeated by drawing a moustache on his Princess Leia poster and stuffing him in a locker?"
I hope Peter isn't speaking from experience. He does wear glasses. Shelly Mazzanoble
I hope Barbarian dies. I don't like the name. Barbarian is a cultural comparison, not an occupation. If they'd called in 'Berserker', I wouldn't have a problem with it. I also think they are a bit OP.

Go away, Paladin. You have too much baggage, and your original incarnation is horrible, and your post DP-incarnation is confusing and has too damned many ways of marking.
Also, I have the perfect novel quote for you when you die, and I want to be able to use it.
Yeah. I don't like the avenger. I've never played one, but I've seen one in play - and the player hated it. Was bored with it a few fights in. And looking at it, I can't see it being any fun, whatsoever. Don't really like the concept, either.
Paladin, on the other hand, is a fun and cool class. I don't know why there's hate towards it... but I guess the list is narrowing down, so people have to pick their favourites.
Me, I'm voting Avenger, and then Barbarian when the Avenger's gone. I'm not super big on Strikers.

Currently the group is in the Feywild, trying to discover who is poisoning the drow.
I know the paladin is poorly designed (A/V-shaped and all that) but seriously? Ahead of the suckastic swordmage?

The swordmage does not suck and never has sucked, and was in fact perfectly playable with just the FRPG.
The Paladin, on the other hand... *vomit*
Swordmage for the win. (And I'm still not sure how it 'sucks' other than not being Defender/Striker like you wanted it to be. Damage ain't everything.)
Paladin and swordmage neck and neck, I have been impressed by the sowrdmage in play and though of voting for the paladin but decided on the druid, never liked that hippie tree hugger and never recovered from a conversation to save the party years ago from fundamentalist Darwinist wolves.

I wouldn't put too much in me using the word suck. Boring might work too.
Hit points are king and damage is everything!

The main illustration for the swordmage, the one that heads its chapter in the Forgotten Realms Players' Guide, has got to be the UGLIEST picture for any of the classes. The colours, the androgynous character, the horrific PVC suit with holes.
There is my superficial reason for voting it off the island.
