EDIT: Comments are very welcome. If you don't want to comment here, please email me at ravencrowking at hotmail dot com. Thank you.

If you do give it a whirl, and let me know what you think/how it works for you, I'll be happy to list you & your group among the playtesters in the actual release.

Thanks again!

RCFG is intended to be a fusion between OS & NS playstyles, giving the advantages of SRD-based gaming coupled with quick character and adventure generation and an Old School feel.

Just because, I decided to "review" RCFG here. Long review short, the game is worth checking out.

First off, thank you for your very kind review. I am very pleased that you found at least part of the work to be worthwhile! I hesitate to use the words "glowing review", but that is very much how it felt when I read it.

It is true that you might have difficulty gaining a group who is familiar with RCFG, but I believe that it is worth doing so. Obviously, if I am not charging for the game, I am also not spending advertising dollars. OTOH, my experience is that, if a good GM is willing to run a game, players will come.

At some point, I will create a "Quickstart" to help with this. I.e., a teaching module, pregenerated characters, etc. In the meanwhile, there is a mini-adventure on my website (Daniel J. Bishop on the Web) that you can use to playtest the rules.

I would certainly be pleased to hear of anyone's experiences with this short scenario, and/or with the RCFG rules.

Good gaming!
