It's fine if you do it yourself. I know I always prefer real dice.

He will come from an "illegal" mining settlement. I would think his clan had the approval of the dwarf lords in Daral Kin to found the settlement, so it would not be seen as illegal in their eyes necessarily, even if the lords themselves broke a treaty of some kind. I hope this fits the world story ok. I have a different question. It seems lv3 characters start with 2,700 worth of gold and items. Is it ok to start with magic equipment? It seems a +1 chain shirt would be worth 1,200 gold for example. Let me know if this is ok.
Well, so far I don't dislike the other characters Do you want us to create wiki pages of our characters?
Right here is Dusk Pyreheart's character sheet. Some things are missing, mostly spells known as I'm going to have to look through them and buy the useful ones. Also in terms of languages which are the common ones in the nation? As that is what she would know, I'm guessing Common, Draconic, Goblin, Elven. Any others? Also for sake of Archivist skills I have decipher script and I've known it to be either very good or useless, just so I don't waste skill points do you think deciphering scripts will come up? https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0VR...BLT2ZkRmc/edit
I guess decipher script will come in handy, the moongates had ancients scripts on it you have to read to travel, right?

Yeah, the moongates and also reading the native races languages might come in handy. I put points in knowledge (dungeoneering) which may be just as useless, but you never know. If it fits the character and makes them rounded, couldn't hurt!
Possibly the moongates yea, I have read magic too, I do have 5 different knowledge skills but that's because dark lore allows me to give you guys +to hit buffs against enemies I make good knowledge checks on. Only knowledge I don't think I got which might be useful is Knowledge (local), might move some points around for it if need be.
Welp, assuming I have the starting gold correct, this is my character sheet. (was having trouble with multi-page tif's, so they are split.) This is my 1st character sheet in a long, long time, so I hope i did it mostly right. How did you end up with an 8? The lowest possibly number you can get with the rolling rules for the campaign is 9, since you have to roll 4d6 and drop the lowest, rerolling 1s and 2s. Which means the lowest possible roll is four 3s for 9.
