One of the most awesome D&D projects I've ever seen is right here on ENWorld. It is the Creature Catalogue Team. Their goal - to ensure that every pre-3e monster is converted to 3rd edition rules. They have a website as well as a pair of forums hosted on ENWorld The Spelljammer stuff in the Creature Catalogue is essential to anyone who wants to play a 3rd Edition game and some of it is very useful to anyone who wants to play a 2nd Edition game. The SJ threads you will find there include: Pocket reference: Creatures from the Spelljammer setting (A list of all the SJ monsters and where you can find them.)Unconverted D&D creatures (The number of monsters of each setting - including Spelljammer - that still need to be converted.)Unconverted Spelljammer creatures (The monsters that still need to be converted.)Converting Creatures from Other Campaign Settings (An old locked thread, where SJ monsters were done alongside other settings.)Converting Spelljammer creatures (A SJ specific thread started after the above thread got full up.) If you haven't already looked at this project, go have a look at some of the threads. Even reading the threads in this forum would take weeks, so the fact that these guys have taken on the role of conveting all these monsters is more than awesome.
