If anyone round these parts has interest, I am getting rid of a small cache of Fantastic Stories from the 70s at my ebay store - eBay Store - Creative Mountain Store: How many people here are actually familiar with the old Fantastic Stories periodicals?
"Not I," said the Gnome. I presume that they are magazines of short stories. Are there any that were, perhaps, written by authors who later achieved any noteworthy degree of fame?
All of them have at least some pieces by authors most will recognize. Fritz Leiber was a book reviewer for many of the issues, for instance. Check them out. I've got the full table of contents for each, including a listing of the artists, included with the descriptions.
