This campaign takes the standard "Superhero RPG" and turns it into a "Comic Book Company Universe" rpg.
During the course of playing this campaign players will control, at various times, their main characters who are a part of the superhero team/Green Ronin Comics comic book "The Champions of Freedom" as well as several alt characters of their own creation from different teams / comic books within the :universe" of Green Ronin Comics. (Such as; "The Freedom Teens", "Ronin Knights", "The Star Guard", "The Eldrich Circle", and solo heroes.
In the first story arc of the campaign titled "The Return of Centurion" we will see the origin of the main characters who will eventually gel together to form the "Champions of Freedom" team. We will also see the return of the Centurion, THE iconic paragon hero of the Green Ronin Universe who was thought dead since the 1990's while saving the planet from the atrocities of Omega, Overlord of the Terminus.
In the second story arc of the campaign titles "Scarab Reborn" we will see the reincarnation of the ancient Egyptian spirit of Prince Heru-Ra who, in his last incarnation we known to the world as the super hero, Scarab. This reincarnation cycle is attempted to be thwarted by Prince Heru-Ra's ancient enemy, the immortal spirit of Tan-Aktor, better known to the world as the evil mastermind Overshadow. As the story culminates we will also see the introduction of some of the individual heroes' arch-enemies. By the end of this time many of the main player characters will have the chance to stay solo or join the newly international Freedom League.
In the third story arc of the campaign titled "To Serve and Protect" we will see exactly what that term means in the greate sense of being a superhero. By this time several of the players' alt characters have been introduced. These seemly individual story lines will come together by the end of the story arc in a manner that will shake the Freedom League to its very core and see a split in the team.
In the fourth story arc of this campaign titled "Time of Crisis" we will see the individual heroes come together, both the players' main characters as well as alts. The very fabric of the entire multiverse is in danger and all will be on the very edge of complete and utter destruction! If the heroes survive and thwart the Ultimate plan of Omega to annihilate every single universe and all continuities in the multiverse we will finally see the formation of The Champions of Freedom!Last Activity: Friday, 13th July, 2012 04:36 AM

I ran two modules as a "pre-Carrion Crown" because one of my players had health-related issues and we were not going to start the campiagn without him. So I wrote up two modules. The first one was called The Horror Beneath Consecrated Ground and the other was the Library of Stark Madness.
The synopsis for both of them are as follows:
Fleeing the inquisitors from the City of Karcau, everyone has their own agenda and purpose, but when a roadside accident forces the coach to stop, there are terrible things in those woods, things that no mortal man should ever face. Unfortunately for one of the teamsters, an attack on the coach by strange wolves causes one of them to be dragged off into the woods. Passengers become heroes as they brave the woods to rescue the teamster that leads them to an old cemetery and manor lost in time, yet where evil festers.
For the Library of Stark Madness:
After leaving the roadside temple, the party arrives in Ardagh Town, only to be offered a chance of a lifetime to find the infamous Library of Stark Madness. Can the party trust their sponsor, a scoundrel who was exiled under penalty of death by Count Lucinean Galdana or will they actually find this accursed place filled with treasures but known to make all who dwell in the Sunderwood go mad? Only time will tell of who the party's true friends are and what is real and what is not.
1st adventure is Haunting in Harrowstone. Taken from the Paizo website:
When Harrowstone Prison burned to the ground, prisoners, guards, and a host of vicious madmen met a terrifying end. In the years since, the nearby town of Ravengro has shunned the fire-scarred ruins, telling tales of unquiet spirits that wander abandoned cellblocks. But when a mysterious evil disturbs Harrowstone’s tenuous spiritual balance, a ghostly prison riot commences that threatens to consume the nearby village in madness and flames. Can the adventurers discover the secrets of Harrowstone and quell a rebellion of the dead? Or will they be the spirit-prison’s next inmates?Last Activity: Tuesday, 12th June, 2012 04:30 PM

Steam and soot darken the skies above the city of Flint, and winds sweeping across its majestic harbor blow the choking products of industrial forges into the fey rainforests that dot its knife-toothed mountains. Since the earliest ages when the people of Risur founded this city, they feared the capricious beings that hid in those fog-shrouded peaks, but now as the march of progress and the demands of national defense turn Flint into a garden for artifice and technology, the old faiths and rituals that kept the lurkers of the woods at bay are being abandoned.
The Unseen Court, the Great Hunt, and the many spirits of the land long ago conquered by Risur’s kings no longer receive tribute, but they cannot enter these new cities of steam and steel to demand their tithe. The impoverished workers who huddle in factory slums fear monsters of a different breed, shadowy children of this new urban labyrinth. Even their modern religions have no defenses against these fiends.
Times are turning. The skyseers – Risurs folk prophets since their homeland’s birth – witness omens in the starry wheels of heaven, and they warn that a new age is nigh. But what they cannot foresee, hidden beyond the steam and soot of the night sky, is the face of this coming era, the spirit of the age. The zeitgeist.
ZEITGEIST™ is an adventure path for D&D 4th Edition and PATHFINDER RPG, taking a party of heroes from Level 1 to Level 30 (D&D 4E) or 1st-20th Level (PATHFINDER), brought to you by the same people who created the critically-acclaimed War of the Burning Sky campaign saga and featuring the same level of intriguing plot, memorable NPCs , and a strong, immersive storyline.
In the ZEITGEIST™ campaign saga, your characters serve in the Homeland Constabulary of the nation of Risur, protecting the country and its citizens from foreign threats lurking within Risur’s borders. During missions of espionage and assassination, your duty will be to root out hostile spies and pursue international conspiracies. As you learn more of your homeland’s own secrets, however, your loyalties may be tested, may even be turned, and you may find that it is you whose hand controls the gears of the turning age.Last Activity: Wednesday, 24th September, 2014 02:21 PM

Living 4th Edition Campaign
Deep beneath the surface of the world lies the Underdark, a realm of endless labyrinthine tunnels and caverns where the sun never shines. The drow--hated and feared even by their fellow dwellers in the darkness--raid other settlements in the Underdark as well as the surface world, taking prisoners back with them. Rendered unconscious with drow poison, then collared and shackled, these prisoners are often sold as slaves or entertainment in the dark elves' subterranean cities.
You, my beloved, are one such prisoner. What shall be your fate?Last Activity: Thursday, 19th May, 2016 04:28 PM
