Once the domain of the Elchaeonic Empire, little is remembered of them, or that era, save by a few sages; only that the island Empire rose and fell on the discovery of magic. Left in its wake, centuries later, are isolated tribes marked by the wizards who once ruled them, crumbled fortresses and forgotten island towers, and -- in theory, at least -- artifacts of unknowable power lying in their ruin all this time, waiting to see the light of day once more....
