Angelic Template: Needs CR & LA

CREATING AN ANGELIC CREATURE
“Angelic” is a template that can be added to any animal, dragon, fey, giant, humanoid or vermin that does not already have the outsider type (referred to hereafter as the “base creature”).

Size: The base creature’s size does not change.
Type: The base creature loses its current type, gains the outsider type and the angelic and native subtypes.
Special Qualities: The base creature gains darkvision out to 60 feet, immunity to acid, cold and petrification, resistance to electricity 10 and fire 10 and gains a +4 racial bonus on saves against poison.
Protective Aura (Su): Against attacks made or effects created by evil creatures, this ability provides a +4 deflection bonus to AC and a +4 resistance bonus on saving throws to anyone within 20 feet of the angelic creature. Otherwise, it functions as a magic circle against evil effect and a lesser globe of invulnerability, both with a radius of 20 feet (caster level equals angelic creature’s HD). This aura can be dispelled, but the angelic creature can create it again as a free action on its next turn. (The defensive benefits from the circle are not included in an angel’s statistics block.)
Tongues (Su): All angelic creatures can speak with any creature that has a language, as though using a tongues spell (caster level equal to the base creature’s Hit Dice). This ability is always active.
Abilities: The base creature’s abilities are unchanged.
Challenge Rating: +X
Advancement: As per the base creature’s standard advancement or by character class
Level Adjustment: +X

I'm going to eyeball CR +2 or +3 on this one and await what others say to see how I'm doing.

I would probably go with CR +3. As for LA, I would put -, aka players could not choose this template. I think having pro evil as well as lesser globe of invulnerability with an improved AC and saves at will is a little much. And not even that, but my allies would gain the same benefits at will. As a DM, I would never allow one of my players to have this template if they asked me.

Thanks for your input Dog Moon. I don't intend to allow players to have the template, but I'd still like to know what you'd price the LA at.

By the Savage Species guidelines, it's about a +4 for the multiple immunities and resistances.

LA. I forgot we were talking templates, where CR has a plus sign.
