  • Racial Skills: The garoyle gains a number of skill points based on the following formula: (2 + Intelligence modifier, min 1) x (HD+3). Its class skills are Climb, Hide, Intimidate, Jump, Listen, Move Silently, Spot. The gargoyle has a +2 racial bonus on Climb, Listen and Spot checks. Well, the LA looks about right... but the feats are quite wrong. They should have feats according to their hit dice, not equal to their total ECL. So a Small gargoyle should have 1 feat, and a Medium or Large on should have 2. Also, gargoyles don't need the Improved Unarmed Strike feat, since they have natural attacks.

Incidentally, you might want to scale the damage on those natural attacks based on the size of the gargoyle.

If a gargoyle can climb any surface, shouldn't it have a climb speed, and the commensurate +8 bonus to Climb checks? It doesn't even have to be a fast climb speed--a mere 10ft would accomplish the flavor you seem to be conveying.

Demiurge out.
