ISRP Closing/Transitional Activities and Events

In celebration of the long run on Wizards of the Coast, of the transition to a new home, of all the good times, all the good friends and just for the hell of having some fun, this thread is devoted to all the scheduled festivities.

Sunday August 14th from 3-9 PM PST The Gauntlet will be run by WizO Nashira in The Arena. Details to come soon.

Can we post our "events", if we have some ideas, and would like to share them?

That is, if anyone would be interested..

Come One Come All! Test your mettle against The Gauntlet!! This Complex Gnomish collaboration will test all your skills and may even give you a shave if you step wrong! You will have to pass through seven challenges of various difficulty to prove your worth! Swinging axes, rolling logs and jets of fire are but a few of the suprises youll find within The Gauntlet!

The gauntlet will be held August 14th from 3-9PM Pacific time in the Arena. Bring your best champions to compete!

Rules: Each character (not player) is allowed only one chance at the gauntlet, though you may enter with other charcters thereafter. At each challenge you wil be asked to prompt the dicebot, Warden to roll a D100 and the number rolled will be how well or badly you handle the current challenge. If you roll a 1, which is typically a failure, you will have a chance to re-roll to recover and see if you make it through anyhow. If, on your re-roll you do not roll higher than a 5 please assume you have taken an appropriate injury and will be unable to continue in the challenge.The numbers rolled will represent your points for the event. Nashira and her assistant will be keeping a running total of each character's points. The character with the most points at the end of the day is the winner. If there is a tie at the end, the tied characters will run through one more time, prompting warden to roll a d100 at each event and as before each number will be added to the total. The one with the most points wins!

August 13th, Evening..

I know that there have been many persons interested in the online group, the Guardians.. and there have been inquiries made as to why they are rarely seen online, if ever anymore..

For all those interested and curious, and perhaps wishing to join the group.. Those with questions and concerns..

There will be an influx of Guardians on August 13th. Some come to say Farewell.. and others to say Hello.. The plans for the groups future will be discussed in an IC fashion, and everyone is welcome to come and join the conversation that takes place.

Adele> Inquiry, would it be possible to host an IC Dance? I am more than glad to lend some planning and plotting, if it could be arranged for the 13th or the 15th..

A party will be taking place on the 14th of this month. The party will be held in The Garden in honor of the ISRP closing down. Please come and have a good time, inform your friends and buddies. The party will be hosted by Lain Ikari and Tabita, so if you have any suggestions please PM one of us to speak about it. We are open for any thoughts and encourage you to think of some. It will take place at 15:00 ISRP time. We are doing this for everyones enjoyment, we hope to see you there!

Saturday August 13th from 3-9PST the dunk tank event will be available in the TMP setting. Anyone who wants to participate is welcome to come by and either take your best shot or be brave and take a turn on the hot seat.
