I'll add to the chorus of welcomes to you Gameforged. Looks like your English is very good to me so far. I admire anyone with the brains to learn multiple languages. My only languages besides English are pig-latin and Tolkien's dwarven runes.
I hope you enjoy reading what we've come up with so far and I look forward to seeing you playing if you like what we've got going on here!
I've been lurking for about a week and was about 70% done with an elf 2 blade ranger when I realized that the concept seemed played out and I wasn't terribly excited
At this point, I think I'm going to read up on fighters and paladins some more and make one or the other. Almost certainly going to be a phb character.
Well thank you all for your greetings! I like what I've read so far, and decided to create a gnome, probably a mage.
But I found no region where gnomes are common. I read they come from a forest, but I don't know where is that forest.
Currently gnomes seem to appear on Kythira. There isn't a whole lot of information around about it, and it isn't written up as a region yet. But that would be the nearest source for a gnome.
You're also allowed to invent your own point of origin, further afield if you like.

I'm surprised to find rogues so lightly represented. They kick serious butt in 4e. But then, so do paladins... and every other class, really.
Hrav is the only bugbear AND the only rogue. He's like a special little snowflake. A special little 7 foot tall hairy snowflake with a big 'ol rapier and ninja stars the size of dinner plates.

And a drunk minotaur priest of the god of death in the middle of it...
Someone should make a movie, I tell ya.
Thinking more about it, a crew of pirates composed entirely of warforged would be great. They could stay at sea indefinitely. Very hard to find when they can go years before making port.

Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.
Hmm...
Tyler's words coming out of my mouth.
And I used to be such a nice guy.

Reason: Whoa. Size seven is bigger than I thought.

Yeah, but...
If one of them fell overboard or the boat capsized in the middle of the ocean, they could take forever to get back to dry land. (Assuming they survive the crushing pressure.)
In my opinion, dwarves about as classy as you can ever come in fantasy, much moreso than those pointy-eared androgynous tree-huggers with perfected human syndrome (though 4E did sort of alleviate this somewhat by splitting them into elves and eladrin). Dwarves also do great mechanically, if that's your concern.
Yeah, the monstrous races have kind of filled that tough'n'brusque archetype for us so far. I think it's a real credit to how well our setting designers have fitted the monsters into the world.
Is a group of warforged rogues with good disguise skills and warforged wizards with illusion or polymorph spells that use their abilities to hide as common conveyances, such as horses, carts, and boats. Then, they "TRANSFORM" to fight evil.
And there could be a diabolic group of similar warforged that serve as the arch-enemy of the group.
And they could come from a distant island, in search of an artifact that resurrects the dead and heals the wounded.
Heck, I bet I could make a movie about this idea and earn hundreds of millions of dollars!

Yeah, I'm a big dwarf fan myself. Possibly my favorite PHB race. But I, and I think many others, have found it too hard to resist taking the opportunity to play MM races. It's not everyday you can play a monster pirate, ya know?
My second character might be a dwarf... or a warforged (I'm a fan, if you couldn't tell).
