As Rurdev starts across the wooden bridge, Dane rounds the corner to see a large room filled with a pool of sewer water. Splashes from all around the room echo out as several small bizarre looking creatures leap from the drain pipes in three corners of the pool. Two larger creatures are amongst the little ones. Each creature has a single spike sticking out of the middle of its serpentine body. A triangular head with a long snout sits atop the sinuous body that ends in a double whip like tail. The larger one to the south is significantly more muscular and a shade of green, while the one on the west has a wicked looking brownish-orange claw.
Terrain: The water is only a foot deep or so, except in the drains which are open. The water is therefore difficult terrain.
Light: The sewer water reflects Vashik's light source providing an additional 30' radius from Rurdev's position (total of 50') which illuminates most of the room.
Dez don't look like rats. Maybe we make wrong turn.
OOC
I would like to propose, in future encounters, that the DM roll initiative for all party members instead of waiting for us to do so. By doing this, it will save nearly a week of time while waiting for everybody to roll initiative and then waiting for the DM to arrange the PCs/enemies in order. That way its a smooth transition from story to combat.
ooc: I completely agree Nebten. I'll roll init in the future unless the party has a choice on when to start combat. I'll also more combats forward if I receive no posts from a player within 48hrs of a DM post should that be necessary.

Dane will move one square to his right, then diaginol to K2. He will then take a long arcing swing at G1 and then hoping to land the tail end of the blow on S5.
Growling deep in his throat, Rurdev springs into action. He crosses back over the bridge and stays next to the wall, avoiding the sewage coming out of the pipe. He charges one of the strange creatures, his blade made of flickering lightning. The dancing shadows coming from his blade and the slick stone makes his blade go way off.
Actions
Move: Move to L8.
Free: Change damage type of magic scimitar to lightning.
Standard: Charge S6 ending move in N8.
Minor: Hunter's quarry on S6 or on M1 if S6 is dead.
Incarnation strides forward, the fire running down his frame smoking to conceal his frame. With a deliberate motion, he raises his dread rod, and with a barked syllable, fires deadly energy at one of the creatures.
Dane rushes into the sewer water sending it splashing over the diminuitive snakelike aberrations. He waraxe leaves a deep gash in the larger creature and buries itself in the head of the smaller one. The little monster dies with a spasm and falls twitching in the water.
Riardon summons his initiate training and sends a burst of fire towards the larger creature to the south. But his training fails him as all three take cover below the sphere of flames.
Vashik sends a force orb towards the larger creature to the south and blasts a hole in it. The reverberating force blasts the two small creatures beside it throwing them to the walls and leaving them battered and out. "You have to do it like this Eladrin, didn't they teach you anything." he says derisively.
Rurdev charges (O7) towards Vashik's target but misses it with the shard of lightning he wields in his hand.
Incarnation blasts the last small creature down near Rurdev feeling the Dark One's Blessing fill him with the rush of the kill.
And thats when the little creatures burst into action.
The large creature fighting Dane (G1) grabs him with it's claw immobilizing the dwarf. It then punches through his armor with it's large single claw (9 dmg). And if that wasn't enough the creature slides him through the muck towards the creatures to the southwest (slide 3 2 = @M1).
The other little creature nearby (S4) moves surroung Dane (@L0) and attacks with it's claw but misses.
The others in the far southwest move up to attack the beleagered warrior. One (S7) moves to flank with the other little guy (@N2) but sadly it too misses. Another (S1) flanks with the bigger one (@N1) manages to score a hit with it's claw. It too is able to shift Dane and itself dragging the bloodied dwarf south (6 dmg & slide 2 1 = @N1, critter @O1). The last of the lower critters (S2) moves up (@O2) to attack Dane but it misses too.
In the other corner, Rurdev faces off against the other large creature (M1). It rears up with it's heavy claw, strange muscles rippling as it brings it down and narrowly misses the shifter.
Dungeoneering DC15
These aberrant creatures are called slivers. These hive creatures emerge from corrupted locations where the fabric of reality is fraying. There are a number of different types of slivers. Those here are drones (the little ones), a might sliver (the big one fighting Rurdev) and a grappling sliver (the big one fighting Dane). The creatures share abilities with one another, particularly the larger species.
Dungeoneering DC20
Slivers are vulnerable to attacks on their leaders who'se shared powers will fade as their life pours from their aberrant snakelike bodies.

Dane digs down to find a burst of vitality after the quick onslaught by the alien worms. The dwarf then performs a backswing manuever with his waraxe and tries to cleave through S1 & S2.
Don't s'all worry. I gots dis side of da room!
Attack
Minor Action: Second Wind, brings me back up to 23 hps.
Standard Action: S1: Cleave to Hit & Damage (1d20+7=18, 1d12+6=11). If I hit secondary damage to S2: 4. G1 is no longer marked.
2 things. I was not bloodied. I am bloodied at 15 not 16 if that makes a difference. Also, am I still being immobilized even though I'm 2 squares away from the creature that is immobilizing me? Maybe I'm just reading into the description too much.
Rurdev swings out his blades in a flurry of strikes against the strange creature. The stench of their surroundings and their strange foes set the shifter on edge. Perhaps if he got a hold of himself he could fight better.
Actions
Minor: Quarry M1.
Standard: Two fanged strike vs M1. 14 and 15 to hit AC. 9 and 10 damage. If both hit +3 damage. Quarry damage is 3 as well, applied to a single hit. Roll Lookup
Sorry for missing round one, if you take a look in my adventure The Jade Frontier it explains why I been awall. I will make a post tomorrow for this round, promise!
Vashik twists his hands through a swift set of arcane passes, emboldened by his first strike. Stepping forward as he snarls a quick incantation in his rasping voice, Small glowing bursts of light shoot from his hand toward the beast that Dane has engaged.
Why send an apprentice to do a Wizards job? Vashik muses aloud, thinking to further antagonize his Eladrin companion before noting his bolts have flown wide, narrowly missing Dane in the process.
By the shadowed wings of an Oni! What foul luck is this?!
Actions
Move Action to move from F5 to I3
Standard Action to Cast Magic Missle at G1 (I can only assume a miss) Attack & Damage 1+5=6, 2+4+5=11
Not knowing anything about things that crawl beneath the ground, Incarnation focuses on the battle. Smoke cloaking him, he strides towards the beast attacking the shifter. Turning his fell gaze towards it, another unwholesome syllable rings out, a dark blast attempting to strike the beast assaulting the shifter.
Incarnation (concealed)
No Dungeoneering, so no check. Move to M8 (keeping concealed). Minor to Curse P6. EB: Re 23, 19hp

Dane (@N1) does indeed 'got' the creatures surrounding him as he quickly drops two of them with a powerful slash of his weapon.
Riardon moves across the bridge (@J4) towards the dwarf and throws his javelin at the larger sliver but misses.
Vashik moves up behind Riardon (@I3) and tries to show him again what true arcane power is like, but misses.
Rurdev (@O7) hits his marked target twice in rapid succession severly injuring the muscular creature. (bloodied)
Incarnation moves (@M8) and curses the muscular creature Rurdev is fighting. The warforge's eldritch blast destroys the foe. All the other creatures look a little less mighty as their muscles contract a little, even the one with the wicked claw near Riardon and Dane.
The large creature (G1) moves (@M1) to attack Dane and succeeds in immobilizing the dwarf but is unable to injure him due to his heavy armor.
The little creature (S4) to the west steps momentarily up onto the ledge before jumping (@N0) towards Dane and impales him with a wicked claw.
The other creature (S7) beside him (@N2) attacks as well but misses.
