Or perhaps this is an elaborate ruse. What if the cultists are down here and simply enter and exit by another route? A conveniant deterrant is what these filthy vermin are. I for one plan to eradicate them.
Finally satisfied with the state of his clothing, Vashik looks ready to storm down the passageway at any moment.
Yup you do appear to have the tactical advantage of being at the top of a short cliff. Its only 5ft high this time so a quick matter of jumping down. Or the cliff descends in a gradual rise to the height of the floor at the southern end of the cliff.
As Dane turns around, he calls, the shifter calls out. "We have the ad-ad-advant-t-tage of terrain now. They should b-b-b-be easy p-prey. Are you afraid they w-w-will d-d-defeat us?" His question was not a question of cowardice, just concern, perhaps the dwarf knew something he didn't.
No, just a waste of time. We here to fight burglers not bugs. But if ye want to clear da whole sew'ars of beasties, so be it.
By looking at Dane, its quite obvious that he's taken quite a beating over the last two fights. He is too proud to say that the normal ache in his leg now is a deep throbbing pain. Those examining him can tell he only has a couple more fights in him this day if they go like the other two.
Even if the cultists are not here now, the taint of the Idol is. Foiling one can only assist foil the other. The shifter has it right; let us use the height to our advantage.

Moving swiftly down to the end of the long low hallway the group emerges quietly upon a spectacle of horror. A large writhing pink sliver lies amongst a brood of small almost premature slivers. More small slivers appear in the midst of some kind of strange birthing. Another of the muscular slivers stands near the cliff. It turns to you as you enter.

Terrain Notes: cliff is 5ft high. A quick jump down will bring you to the floor below though its a bit of a climb up. The ceiling at the top of the slope (where you are now) is a little short, but the cavern expands both out and up. The slope ends to the south at the bottom of the cliff. Nearby the bottom of the slope a stalagmite stands.

Dane readies his shield in front of him and he charges towards the edge at H18. The dwarf attempts to smash M1 and herd it back with its fellow creatures.
Hoping to strike decisively Vashik draws his hands back, arching them as if holding a bow, and with a flick of his wrist conjures and launches an arrow of sizzling vtriole straight at the largest of the slivers.
Hope you enjoy bile in your face as much as I did you ripe dung buckets!
Actions
So I'm not sure if the secondary attack affects L1-L4, since theyre all adjacent to the target or just L2,L3 since theyre adjacent to the actual square I targeted. I rolled for the possibility that I could get all of them.
