Being serious, I'm not sure how long ftw has been around. At least a year or two, I think, though I'm never in the loop (and this extends to internet lingo).
OOC
That's what you get for living in the middle of nowhere in Alberta silly. Luckily, I live right next to Detroit Michigan and I'm hip, I'm with it down here.
While it's true that I live out in the boonies, I seem to have a knack for not being in the loop about anything, no matter where I am or what the loop is about.
Case in point: By the time I found out my sister had appendicitis and had her appendix removed, she was already at home and recovering. It was 3-4 days after she had gone to the hospital. That's an extreme example, but it illustrates how no one tells me anything
Sorry for the delay! Work got a bit crazy. Fortunately, I'm going on a week's vacation in a few days, and I'm not going anywhere exotic (just my mother-in-law's) so I'm bringing the laptop with me. I should be able to post every second day or so.
So here's how I'm gonna set this up: I'll place you in the first positions you requested (so if you said, "I start at O7 and then move to M7" or something like that, you'll be in O7). The rest of your posted moves I've ignored: if you still want to do that you can post it again when your turn comes around.
Tonk's surprise attack is what kicks off the fight, and yes, you got the drop on them! So after this everybody (including Tonk) gets a surprise round.
Ok? Let's go!
Oh, wait, one more thing...
Character Portraits
I decided not to use the pictures you posted. I found some better ones. I bring you...

Tonk!
Terrain
I described the terrain already, but I'll repeat it here so it's all together. Stuff I didn't mention before is in bold so you don't miss it.
If you're adjacent to a wall you'll be able to see inside, since even where there are no windows there are enough gaps to put an eye to. (This gives you line of sight but not line of effect.) The chimney is an exception: it's made of stone and hasn't fallen down enough to have holes in it.
There are doors at J14 and L5 (the steps leading up are about 3 feet high) and windows at D9, H7 and M10 - they are all currently closed and shuttered, so you can only see through by peering through small gaps from an adjacent square. It takes a minor action to open a door or a shutter, after which you get full line of sight and line of effect through them. You can jump through an open window for 1 square of movement with an Acrobatics 12, or spend an entire move action to climb through with no roll needed.
The fireplace chimney is at M12, but it's too small to climb through.
Squares with trees are difficult terrain, and grant cover and concealment to anyone not in an adjacent square. Squares with tree trunks are impassible. Climbing a tree will take an Athletics 12 roll, which will put you 10 feet above the ground (you can't start up a tree).
Also, since it's night, outside the cabin is dim light. Inside the cabin is bright light. The square outside any open door or window is also bright light. (Right now, all doors and windows are closed.)
If you have any other questions about terrain or conditions, please ask.
Tonk sneaks over to the chimney. He stands and smashes the stone and mortar with his mace, yelling, "Raaaaaaaar! I am crazy naked forest monster! I hate chimney with it smoke! It make me crazy! I smash chimney and set house on fire, then do crazy naked monster thing to people inside! It is horror! It is crazy! I build mountain of corpse and poop on it! That how crazy I is!"
From inside the cabin comes a chorus of high-pitched screams, much like you'd hear at a slumber party after an especially scary story, closely followed by a loud thump which sounds like a chair falling over.
Status
Surprise round! Everybody gets one action (standard, move or minor).
No need to wait for your exact turn to post if it's obvious what you're going to do; but if you post before it's your turn and somebody takes an action that invalidates yours, I'll just ignore your action and let you post again.
I decided not to use the pictures you posted. I found some better ones. I bring you...
Dextyr!
Mikara!
Tristan!
Blade!
Tonk!
Oh ... oh dear. That poor emo kid ...
In other news, I'm ready to rock. I, too, will be going on a little trip starting tomorrow, but nothing fancy. I should be able to check in as often as Joe, and I'll be back Sunday night. (Sheesh, it's starting to sound like I never stay in one place for long ...)
Also, I'm wondering if we should change our "Kill Buddy" groups. With our current positions, it might be better for Tonk and Mikara to team up on the north door, and Blade and Tristan to take the south door rather than try to rearrange ourselves now that combat's starting. What do you guys think?
As Tonk commences his lure, Tristan draws his sword as he crouches in the bushes. A predatory grin slowly spreads across his face as he waits for their prey to come out of the building.
Actions
I'll use a minor action to draw my sword, and then wait patiently for my turn to come up again ...

OOC:
Agreed, but if we want to do this in character it might not be a good idea to discuss strategy offline. I'll let Joe figure that one out.
Mikara readies an action to attack J14 the moment someone exits the rear door.
OOC:
Joe: Do I need to declare the powers I will use now, or when it happens?
Upon hearing the forest monster begin his assult on the chimney Dextyr begins making his way towards the cabin.

Poor emo kid is right....
I think we should change kill buddy groups as well. Blade and Tristan using their Oath on 1 target should finish him off pretty quickly (i hope)
Blade moves towards the front lines struggling through the forest and finally reaches the edge of it as he sees Tristan waiting he prepares for battle. "Maros, I hope you're watching, let me prove your worth to the doubters" Blade whispers.
Actions
Move to D4, so I still am in cover, but able to move freely next turn

You can assume you've already got your weapons out, since you were expecting combat and weren't taken by surprise. So Tristan can post a different action if he wants.
Feel free to discuss strategy OOC.
Mikara, you do need to choose the exact attack you're going to use. PHB p291: "Choose Action to Ready: Choose the specific action you are readying (what attack you plan to use, for example) as well as your intended target." (Intended target can be "first creature to come through the door" or something like that, it doesn't have to be something you can see right now.)
I'm disappointed that only Blade's picture provoked any outcry.

Well I can't speak for everyones tokens, but I thought the guitar strumming rooster for Dex was pretty clever, and I couldn't imagine a better token for Tonk at this given moment (naked forest monster and all)
Well, I thought the rooster was really good, and Tonk's ... fits. And Mikara's portrait is just cute. Tristan's is ... er ... yeah. I'm not gonna touch it.
Anyway, a new action. I'm unclear whether the movement penalty for stealth applies if you travel through more than 2 squares, or if you use more than 2 squares of movement. If it's the former, I'll move to P5. If it's the latter, then just move to P6. Basically, move as far towards P5 as possible without taking a penalty to Stealth.
Huh, I really thought calling the bard a chicken and portraying all the elves using Elfquest fan art I found on deviantart would be more controversial than some blue-haired emo kid...

Guess you have a fairly tolerant group on your hands.
..and I took that as a Chinese fighting rooster - those little guys are vicious
I don't think I have EVER laughed as hard as when I read your forest monster ambush tactic. Thank you for making me cry like a baby! ^_^
Internet Lingo 101.1
FTW, indeed, means For The Win. What I love, is my custom 1d20 that has "FTW!!" instead of a 20, and "WTF!?" instead of a 1. For those that don't know what WTF is... I'll let you do the google search on that
Mikara keeps an eye on the back door, knowing that the first one out will be the first one down.
There's a bird in the tree hole hiding from the people When he shows to give his call, my arrows make him fall. If of life there is a trace, Tonk will hit him with a mace.
One less ugly face as with all the human race.
OOC:
OK Joe, here goes:
Readied action targeting the first humanoid to come out the back door.
Action: Evasive Strike, Prime Shot 1d20+7+1 = 25 Ha!
Damage: 2d10+5 = 13 Wish Elven Accuracy referred to damage rolls.
Special: After the attack, Mikara shifts to N16 attempting to maintain concealment and stealth
As most of you circle around to get a better position outside, Tonk vaults easily to he roof, coming down hard on the rotting boards... and crashing right through to the floor below. Actually, not to the floor - he lands on something soft (but with surprising pointy bits) and smelling of disgusting old man.
Tonk
You're in a cold, dismal room filled with mouldering furnishings. Behind you, the fireplace is filled with glowing coals that barely warm the space directly before it. In front of you, a ratty overstuffed armchair has been overturned. Beneath you is sprawled Marglespat Applethorpe. He looks to be over 100 years old, his wrinkled flesh shrunk tight over his bones, his sagging face contorted with anger and spittle collecting around his mouth. He seems to have soiled himself in fear.
Cowering throughout the room are four of Marglespat's cronies, younger men of no more than 60 or 70 who are staring at you in terror.
"AAAGH!" screams the old man. "Get this disgusting beast off me!" He starts to thrash, and Tonk rolls off to the left.
Status
Mikara readies an action.
Blade moves to D4.
Tonk moves to L12 (using his Acrobatics roll to leap up there), and falls through the roof. This'll do the full 1d10 damage, even though it's less than 10 feet, because he landed on Marglespat, who's bony. I assume he'll want to use Acrobatics again to reduce falling damage, so I rolled it for him: 25. I rolled the damage before I realized that this automatically makes it 0, so I might as well post it: -4.
There are only 2 completely unoccupied squares he can end up in so I'll roll randomly: he ends up in K13. (Technically he could stay on top of Marglespat, since he's prone, but that would be confusing.)
Dextyr moves to C3.
Tristan moves to P5.
And now to roll initiative for the bad guys... a 4 and a 1. Amazing.
Mikara again! (She loses her readied action because her turn's come up before it goes off.)
Hurray for Acrobatics! Did Marglespat take any damage from the ceiling falling on him?
"Ha-ha-ha! I is like raindrop made of brick! I fall and smash all with my awesome crazy, naked, forest monster-ness! Look at my naked! It is last thing you see! And it make you doubt own manhood when compare! Run! Run from crazy, naked forest monster!"
Intimidate Check: 1d20+7=8 That's the third Natural 1.

As the sounds of Tonk crashing through the roof echo through the forest all Dextyr can do is let out a defeated sigh as he heads towards the cottage. Moving beneath the shuttered window Dextyr peers through the cracks in the wall to see what type of trouble Tonk has gotten himself into.
This must be some sort of joke.. Dextyr thinks to himself upon seeing the geriatrics gathered inside. This old coffin dodger must truely be the cheapest man in all the Isles if this is all the defenses he can muster. Still this just doesn't seem right....
While peering inside Dextyr draws his wand while trying to figure out what is wrong with the scene inside.

Blade sees his Punch Brother fall into the room, the deva springs into action and walks up to the window. Blade opens it up and points a fist at the human but his beam of radiant light is well off its mark, the deva must be distracted by Tonk's manliness...or something.
