Growl returns to his warforged form and summons forth a wind that knocks the goblin sharpshoot back towards him. He is then able to shake off the hexer's spell.
Mechanics
Minor action - Assume warforged form.
Standard action - Chill Wind vs Goblin Sharpshooter.
Retired PbP Characters:
Alton Highlea: Halfling Quest - Rooting Around
Andarin Startoes: Turtle Soup
Coraine Vagrius: Rhun’s Temple of Elemental Evil
Elyan Kolodah: CB’s Sunless Citadel
Hunolf Hjordsson: Sunless Citadel
Jimmy Masters: Deadlands: Savage West
Kelloran: Night’s Embrace: A Touch of Darkness
... And All The Rest ...
The goblin is battered towards Growl and falls dead at the warforged's feet.
Lephisto places his hand on Adran's shoulder and looks up to the sky. Adran feels some of his wounds be lifted, although he is still sicked and blind. Lephisto then turns back and stabs into the rat.
Growl kills the Sharpshooter. Unfortunately, I just realized that I've been running things wrong. Virtue of Valor has a range of 5 squares, so Growl isn't close enough to benefit.
Lephisto uses his minor to grant Adran a save, to no effect. He then uses another minor to use his last Lay on Hands to heal Adran for 8. Finally he attacks the Blighted Rat with Valiant Strike, which hits for 8 damage.
Adran is refreshed by Lephisto's soothing touch. He smiles, then stumbles backward a step, away from the enemies he cannot see. He takes a moment, in the midst of the turmoil, to breathe deeply and to remind himself of why he's here. It helps. He feels stronger for that slight surcease.

... And All The Rest ...
Panicking at the lack of allies between him and the party, the goblin sends out another swarm of ephemeral insects, this time at Growl. Their stings are excruciating, even to the warforged, and Growl collapses.
Adran would actually be at 13 hp, because of the ongoing damage at the start of his turn.
Stinging Hex does not recharge, so instead the Hexer uses Blinding Hex on Growl, which barely hits for 12 damage. Growl is dying and blind, save ends. FYI, he has not spent his second wind yet. Also, in case you're curious, it takes both a minor and a standard to draw a healing potion and administer it to an unconscious character.

Feyr throw another bolt of light at the rat, who miserably miss. Seeing Growl unconscious on the ground, renew his attack in hope to finally take down another opponent.
I'm going to take Lephisto's turn now, since I don't think Growl's turn is going to change much. He approaches the Hexer, Divine Challenges it, and misses with his charge.
Deprived of his sight, Adran listens intently to the battle raging around him. Hearing the crackle of lightning and the squeal of the dying rat, he cheers for his companion's prowess.
"Oh, well done! Well done ye!"
Then, not knowing what else to do, he waits in vain for his vision to clear so that he can return to the fray.
OOC
Virtue of Valor benefits Feyr: +4 temporary hp. Strength of Valor gives +2 to Feyr's next damage roll before end of Feyr's next turn.

Alek stares in surprise as the swarm charges him. Regaining his composure he throws a spear of energy at the swarm and moves backward hopefully hindering them further.
If you move without shifting (ie move more than one square) the swarm will take an opportunity attack against you. If you don't mind taking the opportunity attack anyway, you should strongly consider attacking first and then moving so that you can get your Prime Shot bonus. You never know when +1 to hit will make the difference. Want to reorder your actions?
Alright then Dire radiance first and then the move action since it basically does the same thing only the 13 becomes a 14 vs Fortitude I just want to keep the swarm in on place or hurt enough for it to kneel over and die

Alek's attack hits the writhing mass of centipedes, but they seem to avoid the worst of it.
As Alek and Feyr withdraw, the swarm practically erupts in a frenzy of mandibles, biting and poisoning both combatants. ooc: Technically, Alek's attack provokes the AoO, but this sounds better from a narrative perspective.
Feyr's attack goes wide.
The swarm seethes in place, a churning mass of skittering legs.
Both Alek and Feyr take 3 damage for starting adjacent to the swarm. Swarm 3 takes Attacks of Opportunities against Alek and Feyr, critting Alek for 6 and hitting Feyr for 4. Alek is weakened and Feyr is poisoned. You both get to take saves against those now, since you would have been able to save at the end of your turn.
Alek hits, but between weakened and the swarm's resistance against non-area attacks, he only deals 2 damage.
Swarm 3 stays in place.
Again, just to remind you all, Lephisto has his encounter power that deals 2[W], and his daily that deals 3[W] and (hit or miss) an ally within 5 can spend a healing surge.
