Master Kundarak. It is my understanding that the group you represent are in the employ of a businessman in the region of Sharn. Knowing that my employer will be taking our airship back in your direction, my employer has authorized me to offer you and yours boarding for the voyage back. I am here in pursuit of determining if you and your party is interested in availing yourself of this offer.
The dwarf talks to the representative for a moment, and finds out his price is simple. Two barrels of the L.I.T.E. brew is all that is requested for the arrangements. Can that be arranged?
'Very polite to offer your help, Sir' 'in this matter i have to consult my partners' 'where can i find you Sir to give you a answer?'
Khuhter will tell the group about the proposition in private.

Rio is inclined to decline, although he suggests that the price might be acceptable if the captain were prepared to guarantee a safe and direct journey. Perhaps a lower price in coin could be arranged in the event that the guarantee was not met?
'Seems like we got different opinions on this matter' 'I rather not go with this people even if its faster' 'never head of a hafling being so "helpfull" freaks me out as a dwrf woman with no beard'

Kenn shrugs.
"If we can put our load on the cart and if Betsy will pull it -- " two significant ifs --"I vote we go back as we came. I'm sure we can arrange secure cargo space on the lightning rail and ferry.
If they won't, I suggest we take them up on their offer. We'll want to keep an eye on our things in case they get acquisitive, but it does get us back safely and with no damage to the cargo.
Let's talk to the wagonwright and see if we can get the beer on the cart."
Kenn shrugs.

Khuther lights his pipe making rings with the smoke 'i just dont like the feeling of helpfull halflings, when we got 17 barrels and they lack 3' 'if i know those little ones right, they wouldn't think it twice if we get sloppy on the defense and rob us' 'now... a skyride wouldnt hurt' ... 'lets see with that wagonwright and see what he says' 'if the beer goes we take the road, if not we take the halfling ride'

The wainwright has a look at the wagon. Well, she'll hold, but barely. Be a might slow, and the strain might need some watch'n. Wouldna want to be in a 'urry.

The porters manage to strap everything to the wagon with a bit of difficulty, but it looks sturdy enough. Mardigan does what he can to supervise.
It as this point that the quiet Tam mentions something is up with the boy. Fritz has got a bug or something, and its hurting him bad. Apparently, Khoros knew one of the servants on the ir'Tain airship and is going to be able to sneak the three of them (and the dog) aboard in order to get Fritz home much, much sooner than the wagon. Tam mentions they'll meet up at the Shard after they get back to give Brews the news.
With that, the group has the rest of the night to do what they want in preparation for the rest of the journey.
OOC: I'm writing out Tam, Khoros, and Fritz at this point. I'm hanging onto Mardigan in case Mog shows back up, but I'm not holding my breath. Not planning on dragging this out too much longer.

Khuther looks at Kenn and Rio 'Seems we are all settled then it seems' 'unless you need me for anything i will be at the tavern drinking a bit of wine'

Kenn is in relative agreement with Rio, though he suggests waiting until morning rather than pulling out in the dead of night.
"We're not in that much of a hurry, are we, old chaps? Besides, a fellah could hurt himself stumbling around in the bally old dark. Much better to hurt yourself stumbling around in the light, so you can properly swear at what you're stumbling on."
Kenn nips out early in the evening to purchase a kukri, or, if necessary, a hand axe (though he feels a hand axe is terribly gauche and won't mention it to anyone).
He comes back with that and some takeaway for himself and Rio to share while they stand watch.
"It was bouilliabaisse or Shadow March gumbo. The gumbo looks like somebody boiled an innocent tide pool and added hot sauce."
Kenn frowns as he opens the wine and pours.
"I almost got some for use as a weapon, but there's got to be a clause in a treaty somewhere forbidding that kind of thing."
After dinner he slouches about the wagon, watching the mule, the casks, Rio, and the surroundings about equally.
