Let's find where the Flame headquarters for this area was located, that's our top priority for the mission, reconnaissance on the Flame group here. Pok looks to River, What do you say?
"Yes, we shall go with Pok and make any observations that we can. Perhaps we can overhear something at the tavern. Pok is much more suited towards being stealthy than we are, but we should be able to see anything coming well before they spot Pok. Good luck to you, and may The Light be with you always."
Actions
Lanharath will go with Pok. Feel free to roll any stealth/perception checks necessary for Lanharath if it will speed things up. Just keep in mind that Lanharath get's to roll 2d20 + 19 and take the better of the two for Perception.
Due to his Telepathic Sensitivity feat, Lanharath gets to roll 2d20 + 22 (and take the better of the two) instead if the roll opposes a minded creature's stealth roll. Lanharath's stealth roll is simply 1d20 + 9...far inferior to Pok's, lol.
I am back. I'll read everything later today to come back. But I have a question, could an overhaul happen now? If yes, I would gladly do it to River. He was a pacifist at start (and choose so even before DP goes out), but with DP now on board, I can do exactly what I wanted, and not be halfway to it.

"He might have contracted that disease even before we leave, so I can't tell how he got it. Disease that strike fast are generally spread by creature and there is some magical effect that catalyze the disease into the body system, but I don't think the Sahuagin could do that. That one must have incubated in his body for a few days. Too bad I wasn't able to do anything against that disease... it still out of my reach to heal him quickly. But he will be good." replies River to Pok's question.
"Valahad, let's go find the refugee. They should probably need some healer's help. Being cast away from home degrade a lot their life condition. Also, we might learn a few things from them, even more if we are helping them."
Action
I suggest River and Valahad goes talk to the refugee. With soem good Heal roll if they need it, they will see we are here to help. After that, Diplomacy (now at +10 for River) and Insight, we might be able to learn much by talking to them.

"Yes, that sounds like a plan," Valahad says in the minds of his companions. "River and I will go to the refugees. Lanharath and Pok shall go to a tavern to find out information more subtly. We shall then meet at the Flamist's headquarters. Good?"
*The location of the Flames base of operation, and if any of it's members are still present.* Pok responds with no hesitation, the thoughts are crystal clear and direct. *You're more familiar with stripping information from people, though that may not be required, if there is a good source of public information here, like a Sivis notary, or government clerk. Let's check on that, then visit the local Tavern to ply your skill. Where is our regroup and when will it be? That is where we should go if there is an emergency as well...*
"We would think we should regroup right here, as it is closest to any true escape... our ship. As for stripping information from people, we are no true mind-reader; at least not yet. We can only "hear" the surface thoughts that people are not mentally strong enough to lock away. It helps that we can "steer" the path of these thoughts to a certain extent, but if someone is mentally strong enough to not think of something, there's no way for us to get at it. We call it "hearing a brick wall."
OOC
On a completely unrelated note...I cannot WAIT till the PHB 3 comes out and we can use Skill Powers. There's 2 that I'm particularly looking forward to. The first, at level 6, is an encounter utility called Guided Shot. It will let me use an Immediate Interrupt to allow an ally who has missed an attack vs AC to target Reflex instead. Situational, but right up Lan's alley. The second (and way more awesome) is at level 10. It's a Daily utility that will let me use my Passive Perception check in place of initiative for me and one ally within 5 squares. By level 10... even if I don't update my equipment to improve my perception checks... I will have a Passive Perception of something like... 30. That pretty much guarantees that once per day me and an ally will go first unless we are going up against something ridiculously quick. Also, I have decided that I WILL be switching over to the Censure of Unity, so I'll have that stated up for approval sometime today.
You ask around and between your social prowess you manage to locate the local Temple of the Silver Flame. The evening is wearing on and the sun has set beyond the horizon, magical illumination has appeared in the various street lights set-up in this nice area of town. The heavy wooden doors are closed and after a tentative pull, they are locked.
Valahad/River
What was once a grassy common in the center of town has become a field of makeshift tents. The number of refugees is hard to count, more arriving each day to replace those picking up to head east for more civilized lands. The exiles are a mix of races and cultures.
Perception DC 10 for Valahad/River or DC 20 for Pok/Lan
You hear shouting coming from the refugee area and then a child's screams, before they're silenced
River looks around. This camp of refugee remind him so much bad memories of the days that have followed the day of Mourning, where he would see the gathering of his people in town near the border of the Mournland. This also remind him that his family might be death, or they have taken refugee somewhere he hasn't been yet. Too much bad memory in a short moment, River takes a deep breath and cast aside all that, but all those thought have distracted him.
Lanharath makes the DC 20 perception check by rolling 34.
Lanharath hears the scream and motions to everyone to get their attention. Speaking into their minds he indicates that they should be as quiet as possible while he scouts out the area.
Slinking to the side of the building, Lanharath places an ear to wall, trying to hear anything more inside the building.
The walls are worked stone and block your attempts to listen in.
There is a side entrance as well, this one appears locked as well.
You hear the front door open and a women's voice.
Pok
As Lanharath disappears around the side of the building, the front door opens and a female wearing a robe opens the portal. "Who are you! Where did that scream come from!" she demands
Hearing the woman's voice, Lanharath attempts to sneak to the corner of the building, without being seen by the woman, just in case she attacked the group.
Pok doesn't notice the scream, as he is focused on detecting any aura of magic in the immediate area, the tingle of Lanharath warning him to maintain silence, and then the kalashtar was around the corner. That was when the door opened and a woman saw this gnome, wiggling fingers, half hidden by some debris. Oh god, You can see me?! yelps Pok, *Lanharath she sees me! Why didn't you say you heard someone coming?* Thinks Pok, hoping the kalshtar in mindshot.
A deep breath, I'm Perky, nice to meet you madam. Do you have an affinity for Sacramental Rapid-oxidation?

Valahad looked upon the refugees with a mixture of hope and sorrow. The people were much like his own, pushed from the land into the moutains of Adar. Hope for the better, for the turning of the age. Valahad looks into the group, the agents of the Inspired were everywhere, he seeks some sort of recognition in the eyes of the refugees a quori spirit.
The paladin steps closer to the throng, walking through the mud, that was once grass. The scream rings out over the area, "Yes, let's go," he says in the mind of River. The paladin keeps his hands on his blade so as to not start a panic, and then pushes through the crowd, toward the scream.
The woman looks at "Perky" and pushes past you, listening for a moment, then she turns back into the building "Sisters, to arms! There is a disturbance at the refugees" as the door shuts loudly in your face.
You here continued shouting from the refugee area.
OOC - you're one full round away should you go investigate
Valahad/River
As the rain continues to fall, you move to the refugee camp and see the area lit by sunrods, they're light allowing you to see more clearly. Unfortunately, the scene is one better left unseen. A few humans lie dead on the ground, a group of five armed figures move around the area, a pair tear down a tent and one of them brings down a mace on the helpless people inside.
A dwarf is also visible from the north, he carries a bastard sword and wears full plate, a holy symbol is evident around his neck.
Gorlin
You've recently arrived in Moonwatch, sent by The Sovereign Host temple in Sharn to provide support to the Silver Flamists in the area with their trouble relating to cultists. You took the land route here.

You also notice a heavily armed duo at the south end of the street, one is a kalashter in full plate, the other is a shifter in chainmail, the shifter has a holy symbol around his neck.
OOC
Illumination: The staff wielder carries a sunrod (bright light out to 20 squares).
Tents: Tents can be opened from any side. One tent wall provides cover; two provide superior cover.
Fallen Tent: This heap of canvas is difficult terrain.
Buildings: Shops and houses are blocking terrain.
"By Arawai! Stop that slauthering immediatly! These are innocent people! Guards!" shouts River. "We need to stop them. We have to save the live of those who are still living."
